?

Who should be the starting QB for the Jets against Indy?

  1. It's Tebow Time!

    44.4%
  2. Let's stick with Sanchez for now.

    55.6%

That proves what? The bottom line is Tebow is not a starter in the NFL.

in the same spot a year apart(divisional playoff at NE) Sanchez led his O to 28 pts and a win, tebow led his O to 10 pts and a loss. Sanchez threw 3 TDs, Tebow zero.

Why do u think he only threw the ball 30% of time? Because he sucks at throwing the football. This is the NFL if u don't have a QB that can throw u won't do much.

and I am saying based on what? He put up comparable numbers to Tebow, without even taking in to account running numbers, after starting for 2 years with the same head coach, the same OC, having superior talent on both sides of the ball, and beating lesser quality opponents. For information sake the teams Tebow beat last year not including Pittsburg had a combined win % of 42.8, the teams the jets beat were 39.8

exceot that the numbers show that in the 4th quarter he was asked to throw the ball 3 times as often as in any other quarter and the Broncos scored twice as many points in that quarter as in any other quarter....try again

it proves that he managed to score as many points as Sanchez did playing the exact same teams, but with inferior talent, see Tebow doesn't play defense. I listed the points given up to show how inferior the Denver D was to the jets D last year

Don't even back Tebow to be starter, but you pretty much owned him there. It is true.

ok, apples to oranges,k see teams are different year to year, that is why I compared the same year, when both teams played teh exact same team twice, and the third year starter with 40 games under his belt led his team to 1 extra point per game when compared to the 2nd year backup with less than 16 starts to his name....got it?

Hate to bust ur bubble but the only reason Tebow got a TD in the playoffs against the Pats is because Den D got a TO that put Tebow in the red zone. The bottom line is Mark the better QB.

you feel that a guy with less than 16 games under his belt should be held to the same standard as a guy who has been starting for his 4th year now. See in the beginning QB's on teams that have a chance to compete are asked to manage the game and just not lose, eventually they are supposed to transition to adding to the value of the team and helping their team win. It is perfectly acceptable for a 1st and 2nd year QB to just not lose the game, by the 4th year they should be to the help the team win point

I can't agree with that they are same and one has only started 16 games or so. Thats not good for a 4 year starter man.

once again based on what, Tebows career numbers are better than Sanchez, his numbers last year were comparable to Sanchez, and blow his out of the water once you add the running game in, Sanchez had lower quality wins and didn't beat a single team with a winning record last year. Tebow at least beat 1 team with a winning record. You keep acting like if you repeat that Sanchez is the better QB often enough it will come true, if you have proof feel free to supply it. So far I see a guy in his 4th year as a starter that is not anywhere close to where he need to be to be considered a starter in the league who was 6 point higher in the passer ratings last year than a guy who started his 4th-16th games after hopping in in the middle of the season after a coaching change.

They are, the pats team we played was better than the one Denver played and sanchez outplayed the best QB of this generation in Foxboro. tebow looked like he had never played the sport before.

2010 was Sanchez's 2nd year in the league, 2011 was tebow's 2nd year in the league.

denver had one of the lowest forced turnover numbers in the league last year, so by and large they started Tebow in worse field position than the Jets started Sanchez

    denver had 18 (28th overall)

    Jets had 31 (6th overall)

right, but last year, when the talent was exactly the same when Sanchez and Tebow played them They both got beaten equally badly. See it doesn't matter how good or bad the Pats were in 2010 because both Sanchez and Tebow played them in 2011 when it was exactly the same team so if they were worse in 2011 as you claim, why was Sanchez not able to beat them in 2011?

Our team wasn't very good last year and in both games Sanchez brought us back w/in a score in the 4th only to watch our overrated D allow NE to go right down the field and score again.
