    Is this for real?

    Ben Volin ‏@BenVolinPBP
And a long of 66 RT @AlBottoni After 666th MNF, Mark Sanchez has 6 TDs, 6 INTs, is averaging 6.6 YPA, has a QB rating of 66.6 and wears # 6

*edit* Holy crap it all checks out. Crazy coincidence. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/12482/mark-sanchez

All of these factors go into chemistry, trust and timing. I think Sanchez isn't 100% sure of the receivers route running, how the will break, how they get their head around and it causes him to hold the ball a split second longer than he would with holmes/keller/kerley in the game. This opens him up for sacks and fumbles. Also no outlet from the backfield maks simple high percentage dump off passes non-existent.

Not only that the running game has been shit so teams don't even have to plan for it. They had what 15 running back carries last night?

but that is the thing, mark has a low completition percentage despite looking to check down on most of his plays. Mindboggling.

RT @wingoz Sanchez is first QB since Stoney Case of 1999 Ravens wth 4 straight games of 25+ passes & completion percentage under 50% #nyj

IMO that speaks volumes to the run game.

    FWIW

17 quarterbacks have been victimized by same number or more drops as Jets QB Mark Sanchez (10) this season, per Pro Football Focus. #nyj

How many of those have zero running game, #1, #2, and #3 pass options out, and no outlet receiver. Give him an outlet receiver that has 10 catches and we are talking about his 55% or rate.

You have to look at the total picture...if Holmes, Hill, Kerley, and Keller were healthy and he put up those numbers you scream ... but how much is the guy going to do? They don't even give him any simple check down/screen options.

Yes they do, that's why Sanchez's YPA is at the bottom of the league, all he does is throw checkdowns.

    Twitter wolves out today.

Sanchez from last night -- only 5-for-16 on passes of 5 yds or less, according to @ESPNStatsInfo. Had as many tipped balls as comps. #Jets

Just because that is all he does doesn't mean that they are easy or simple. Dropping a ball into Greene or Cumberland isn't exactly a winning game plan. Actually that those are the most often plays are telling of the offense as a whole.

If receivers don't matter why are they drafted in the so high in every draft? It is impossible to rate Sanchez without a top running back and some quality pass catchers. One thing we know for sure is that Tebow cannot be an everyplay QB.

That has a lot to do with his low completion percentage ... what do the yards per completion look like?

He's taking way more shots downfield than last year, that's for sure.

Not his fault. The wind blows 82% harder when Sanchez is throwing, thus explaining why being terrible is not actually his fault.

I'm guessing it's because Locker went out and Hasselbeck replaced him.

Tennessee has 2 QBs on there. Locker 63.2%, Hasselbeck 62%

If you take out the Buffalo game, Sanchez's comp % is 43.9%

Yeah I know but you'd think an nfl starting QB would have a better % than a backup. Maybe that says something.....hmmm......
