Well said, no matter what happens, the Jets will most likely end the game with the worst QB in the NFL as their QB. It is pathetic. I hate Tanny for not getting Manning.
Didn't they try to get Manning and it didn't work out. Besides we still would have had Sanchez under contract this season for a ton of money.
if you are going to hate tanny, hate him for throwing our draft picks out the window, mismanaging the ones we had left, and not managing the roster correctly. manning isn't the answer and there's a pretty good chance manning said LOL when the Jets called.
Drive 1: Sanchez gets rid of the ball on 2nd and 10 to avoid a sack as the pocket collapses and then completes a 13 yarder on 3rd and 15.
Drive 3: Sanchez completes 27 to Gates beautiful sideline throw. Completes for a 27 yard TD to Cumberland. Steps up in the pocket and throws a nice strike down the middle.
Sanchez made some good throws finally. Now think about how Brady, Manning, Ryan, Flacco, Weeden hell any decent NFL QB make those throws on a regular basis. Yep we should all start worshiping Brady's dick. Shouldn't be a surprise. Sanchez haters like myself expect that throw at the least.
Drive 4: Sanchez completes a 4 yard pass under pressure on 3rd and 4 and 2 inches. Tebow fake for a 1st Sanchez deflected on 1st down to Reuland. Powell falls down on 2nd round route. Sanchez deflected on 3rd down. 3rd down throw was a likely deflection. Low throw and to a contested lane. I'm guessing Tebow gets the next drive.
No doubt he has the work ethic and all the athletic attributes Sanchez just does not see things elite QB's do, Tebow nearly hit that bomb which shows the WR are getting open. You basically need Tebow's brain in Mark Sanchez's body then we got out QB.
Drive 5: Tebow gets the first two plays, leaves 3rd and 4. Sanchez completes for 3.75 on 3rd and 4. Sneaks for 1st. Sanchez incomplete long to Cromartie, incomplete to Cumberland on backshoulder throw, smothered in the pocket and chucks it out to avoid the sack. 5 for 12 at this point with 2 throwaways to avoid sacks, 1 incomplete where the receiver fell down on a timing pattern and 2 balls off the receivers fingers. Why did the Jets not let Tebow complete this drive?

Sanchez just has no fucking clue whatsoever as to what is happening withing the 5 yard circle immediately around him.
Is it a stretch to say poor O line play, an awful running back, backup TE and having a 2nd year 4th round pick as your number 1 receiver is not exactly a recipe to succeed.
