I'm sorry for those who bought PSL's. some bought bc they wanted good seats at all costs. Some bought bc they felt they had no other choice bc high rows in the upper end zone is not an option. And others just bought for the glory of having great seats. But woody really fucked shit up by holding back prime uppers and disregarding seniority. And also thank god for us , he fucked himself by not having a PSL on the entire upper level
Give Woody credit that he was smart enough to know if he would have PSLed the UD that tier would be totally empty except maybe for the 1st 4 rows
Wrong Champ. First year, 1k, we would have all bought the PSL and now we would have to eat it or try to sell it for $300. Woody screwed up and we got lucky. Woody is not such a smart business guy it seems to me.
That is totally sheer speculation on your part. Maybe in your case it is true & U are extending your thoughts to the NYJ fans as a whole which is totally unfair unless U know each & every STH. In my case it would have been adios Woody so at least in my case U R incorrect:jets:
And your statement is not speculation? I think I am in a better position then you to speculate "Give Woody credit that he was smart enough to know if he would have PSLed the UD that tier would be totally empty except maybe for the 1st 4 rows
Yes mine to is speculation but there has to be some reason Woody did not PSL the UD & I think the reason is what I posted otherwise why would he give up the money the PSLs in the UD would have generated if sold?
Good point, it was a bad business decision based on how much $ he thought he was going to get from that auction. The dude is delusional, he was looking at 50K+ for the best seats so he did not think it was needed. Just like all the other 1% who don't even know how to eat a slice of pizza, he just doesn't understand his fanbase.
Yes I remember when he was attempting to auction off what he thought were the "best" seats in the house. Well I will not shed any croc tears for him since a few pennies here or there for him are is chump change. As for the debt he incurred on the stadium he can always re-fi & especially these days with the rates what they are he would be getting a bargain
I gave my 6 tickets to a guy at the supply house who I deal with on Monday and this morning he gave them back to me. LOL cant even give Jets tickets away.
I can only speak for myself-----had the Jets put $1000 psl on the upper seats I had,,,I would have bought all 4 and now been stuck with them! Without question I would have paid the freaking psl.............thank god there was none and more importantly that I bought zero psls upper or lower . I did not walk away I ran
This is very true!! He did Fuck him self!! Even a 100-500 PSL would have done the trick! Like what the giants did! Very happy I sold all 8 Season tickets to a broker this year and made 1400 profit after looking at how prices are going on this year!! I will do it again next year as well!
Tickets down to $12 for the Monday night game, and we're still not the day of. Lowest Jets ticket prices in history coming up tomorrow pm http://www.stubhub.com/new-york-jets-tickets/jets-vs-texans-metlife-stadium-4076012/
1- I see it @ $18 2- You do realize that the tix for sale at that price require an oxygen tank... lol
The $12 tickets are for 2 in row 25 of section 345 - those should be around $65 face, right? If you don't own an oxygen tank or high powered telescope, there are 4 in Lower Endzone 129, row 18, going for $30 each. These are $125 face + PSL commitment. And it's not even winter yet
SHOCKED???? Ahhh, no Lots of tickets still available for Monday night's Jets-Texans game: report By BRIAN COSTELLO Posted: 10:08 AM, October 7, 2012 Last week the Jets played before a ton of 49ers fans at MetLife Stadium. This week, could it be empty seats? According to a report on the NFL Network, the Jets had 12,000 unsold tickets remaining for Monday’s game with the Texans as of Friday. A team spokesman said the report is inaccurate and all of the Jets home games will be televised locally. It is unknown exactly how many unsold tickets would trigger a local TV blackout. The empty seats will spark speculation that the team could make a change at quarterback in order to spark interest. The Jets are already hearing cries to replace Mark Sanchez with Tim Tebow because of the offense’s struggles. There is also a belief Jets owner Woody Johnson could exert pressure on coach Rex Ryan to play Tebow at some point.
