As far as the press was concerned Herm was pretty normal. Plus he taught us a profound lesson " you play to win the game." what a revelation.
Who else, the DEFENSE of course. I know it's comical. Beginning of this season "Best team I've ever coached... You can substitue "RAAH, RAAH, SISS BOOM BAH" *pom poms*
Rex haters, he's yet to have a losing season... 2 AFC title games and you are up his ass. I dont get it. Let the Jets lose more than 9 games before you go spouting off about how bad a coach he is.
Yeah, which side won? How can it be good - according to the ratings they should have tied. Which of course doesn't say either side is good.
We had a good practice?? I guess it's time to start shopping for a new podium to hoist that vince lombardi trophy on. Week in and week out after a bad loss, without fail, the coaching staff will spew utter bull shit to make us think that this team is going to be a serious force in the NFL. I believed it for the first 2 years, and even a little bit last year, but it's time we start recognizing when Rex is just being Rex.
You make a good point. Prior to Herm coming on board we didn't even really know what we were playing for. People overlook him, but the guy was truly a revolutionary figure in our team's history.
It doesn't matter what the ring leader says, this Jets team won't beat the Texans on any night or day this season.
