    Tim Tebow - nothing.
    Santonio Holmes - nothing.

    David Harris - 2nd
    Sione Pouha - nothing.
    Antonio Cromartie - 4th.
    Kyle Wilson - nothing.

Trading away assets isn't going to get the Jets much even if they could afford the cap hits involved which they can't right now.

What the Jets need to do is start treating the draft like a serious process. First, they need to get an organizational plan that is more coherent than "ooh, shiny, me want."

as bad as it sounds but right now they can just win if they loose

Draft and a bad season with as less wins as possible would be a chance,
getting some money and try to find some FA and start all over again next year

BUT...which fan wanna see his team loose from begin of week 5 on ??? :eek:hmy:

I don't think Keller or Harris would bring a 3rd...Keller isn't that good and Harris is getting old and he is grossly overpaid. (highest single cap hit for this team next year....13 mil in salary and bonus)

Harris is getting old? Oh, ok...

He is still one of the top 10 LB's in the game.

Harris has a base salary of 10.9M next year which is very high for what he brings to the table but he has a 4.9M salary in 2014 which is ok.

Teams acquiring him would only have to look at those two numbers because everything else would go away when the Jets traded him as the prorated bonuses hit the Jets cap all at once.

I don't think the Jets should be trading him though. He's one of the few pieces on the defense that will work ok in either a 4-3 or a 3-4 and so he gives the Jets some flexibility moving forward. He's also a pretty good player, if not at the level he is currently being compensated at.

He will be in his 8th year, won't he?..yeah that's getting up there and he may be one of the top 10 but for how long? And who on earth would want to pay him 13 million next year other than the Jets? You probably couldn't get anything for him at this point.

In one breath everyone says losing Holmes is a huge blow to our passing game.

In the next breath they say he is worth nothing?

Everyone isn't saying anything. They got him for a fifth and he's done less to help his value since the trade.

Talent does not equal trade value in todays NFL. Holmes injury and contract make him unmovable, that down not mean he is not a very talented wideout.

$9 mil a year makes a slighly better than average WR a poor investment.

Well Holmes is a star-caliber average WR. He's like the best of the guys that aren't really that good. He's the biggest playmaker who can't get open. He's the game-breaking ball bobbler of all time.

He's the living example of why the Steelers are the Steelers and the Jets are the Jets.

Santonio Holmes - negative 3rd rounder

No one's going to take that contract AND give us a draft pick.

Tim Tebow- 5th round. It's a media play, and I believe the Jags offered up a 4th for him, so I'd assume they would atleast think about a 5th for him.

Santonio Holmes- Nothing, his production isn't there, and the salary hit is just too much. Not to mention the malcontent that he is. He is a loss for us, because he was our No. 1 WR, but based on salary and reputation, we wouldn't get anything for him, which is why he's still on the team.
Dustin Keller- if tagged- 3rd I'd assume. While it's a passing league, teams do still expect TE to atleast be able to block if needed, and he's not that great. Also, price tag factors in here as well.
David Harris- Price tag lowers the value again, I'm guessing maybe a second if a team gets desperate with injuries, but otherwise a 3rd.
    Sione Pouha- Pretty much nothing.
Antonio Cromartie- Price tag problem, can maybe get a 3rd or 4th, and can't be a team's No. 1.
Kyle Wilson - 7th, essentially nothing, but teams always love guys that were drafted high and think they can fix him.

All in all, wouldn't look forward to dumping any of these guys for valuable picks.
