If this is true then hope has fled.

I think Sanchez needs to get married and not to a celebrity. He needs a good woman to keep him focused because he's obviously not mentally focused.

Its not a tough call. You play bad then you get benched. It happens in every sport at every position, but somehow QB is different. Nope, its not any different. These are grown men who can handle being bench. If they can't then you don't want them on your team. A good player it will light a fire under their ass, a bad player it won't.

Well, I'm pushing for McElroy because I actually think he's better than either of them.

He has no chance..his job is to run the scout team. Maybe next year if he is even on the team then.

I know you've went completely off the deep end on Sanchez, probably for attention or something. It's annoying but..

You can buy all the Johnson and Johnson products you want - It has nothing to do with Woody. He has no association/leadership with the company. His grandfathers built it but Woody hasn't been involved at all. The lucky bastard was just born with a giant silver spoon and hasn't ran anything in his life except our NY Jets which he has/is running into the ground.

If you are upset with Sanchez/Obama having limited success in 4 years, you should be furious with Johnson then - 12 years.

Correct...but then you wouldn't has as much a media circus as you do now and half the people on this board wouldn't be contemplating suicide.

We are REALLY close to slipping into the darkness again. No leadership. No direction. No plan. No vision. SOJ. Of course, some of you SOJFs will say we are already there and that you saw it coming years ago. Well congratulations on helping us get here.

Tebow is worse than Sanchez. It will just put us one step closer to the number one pick in this years draft!

Ok. So you're idea is to bench Sanchez. And what do you do when Tebow fucks it up and plays worse then Sanchez did? Put Sanchez back out on the field? Yeah, that'll be good for his psyche. Good luck keeping Sanchez happy and motivated by putting this other "QB" in.

When Tebow comes in for good Sanchez is done and somebody else will be running the show next year.

When will the bandwagon Tebow fans eject thier heads and realize he cannot operate a conventional NFL offense, therefore a new offense would have to be installed. And that my friends cannot be done in two days.

Yeah I don't know what people are talking about when it comes to McElroy. He was a seventh rounder two years ago. You don't name a starting quarterback based on preseason games against third string competition. He's lucky just to have stuck on the roster -- and he may not have if Stanton hadn't demanded out.

He's just not a legitimate option. As a general rule, seventh round quarterbacks don't start -- especially not this early in their careers. Only two seventh round QBs drafted since 2000 have ever started a dozen games in a season -- and one of them (Cassel) didn't start a game until his fourth season in the NFL.

I just don't understand why people think McElroy is so much more special than every other QB that's been drafted in the 7th round. The odds are stacked against him.

I've been asked a few times by friends of mine about this scenario. Quite honestly, I'm not sure which is better.

    Would you rather:

-Intentionally lose and/or play badly to try to pick up the #1 or one of the top picks in the NFL Draft, keep Sanchez and let him play the next year, then release him (while getting rid of Tebow at the end of this season)?

-Leave Sanchez in and hope for the best. Then address the QB situation at the end of the season, keeping Sanchez for the 2013 year?

-Put in Tebow and watch what happens.

Jerry Jones is going on 17 years with 1 playoff win as GM. You can literally time Tannebaum's reign by 3 and deduct most of the payoff wins add Woody's mistakes and they BOTH still would not catch up to Jerry's incompetence.

    (like Constanza once said )
"so please, a little respect, for I am Jerry Jones, lord of the idiots!".

That is by far the greatest post you have ever made, it almost gets you back to zero (from the horrible post you have made)

I think you use this draft to get more offensive weapons other than QB so when/if you get a qb after 2013 you can start him right away and have some experienced weapons around him. Best case with better weapons Sanchez looks like a decent QB, worst case you have a decent surrounding cast to ease a rookie in.

So you're intending to take a hit to the Cap by releasing Sanchez? A year in which we would already be in trouble with cap space? That's not really smart. We can't get rid of him - we just signed him this past year and extended his contract. Who would you intend we should have running the show next year? A top tier QB? Where we getting him from? COST is a huge factor.
