http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/sto...ds-closer-pulling-plug-mark-sanchez-tim-tebow That man is fucking out of his mind.
This is nonsense there is nothing new in this article just the ramblings of some idiot sports writer. So Johnson said basically the questions about Tebow will increase in the media if the play remains unacceptable, that's just the facts, it says nothing of Woody wanting Tebow starting. It's amazing anyone in NY can find success with the media in this town that outright lies and slanders people.
This is such a misleading thread. He NEVER said those words. He implied that if this continues to make a change. Never did he say to do it right now
Of course that means one more game. That's not the point. The point is, the OP posted the title with quotations stating that Woody said "Start TEBOW". Even if it means Sanchez is starting one more game, where does that quote come into the picture? I have yet to see it.
Nah definitely not yet. The earliest you should give up on Sanchez is week 8. He deserves half the season to get shit together.
I agree that Week 8 seems reasonable but with Holmes likely out for the year, does it really matter when Tebow starts?
We SHOULD be starting him. It's the smart thing to do at this point. Mark Sanchez is a disaster. Tim Tebow is our only hope
Isn't fake news a bannable offence? First of all, this piece of shit article is written by Cimini of all people, and secondly, nowhere does it state that Woody said this, it's mere speculation.
No because there's no going back, Don't abandon ship just yet, Give him until half the season to see if he can pull it together. If where 2-6 or 3-5 then w/e fuck it, just do it and see what Tim can do but right now at 2-2 and still tops in the division it's to early for that shit imo.
Agree that if you pull the plug on Sanchez, there's no going back. We probably disagree about whether or not that's a good thing, though. I'd like to see us make the switch so the QB decision-making becomes less complicated for Tanny. Give Tebow his shot. If somehow he gets us to the playoffs, draft a QB in the second or third round as "insurance" and go into next year with Tebow while developing the other guy. If Tebow falls flat, dedicate all resources to bringing in a high pick QB this year or trading for a high quality vet QB. Either way, jettison Sanchez and his ridiculous salary and give us a shot in the arm for this season.
