It's cool that phins fans are excited about their new QB, but just remember that he's played only 4 games and teams haven't exactly figured out what his kryptonite is yet. Cam Newton isn't exactly doing as well as he was last year now that defenses figured out how to handle him.

True, but it hasn't stopped that preening Bobby Bonilla-like vanity case from being "Cam" whether his team's winning or losing ....

My only problem is we have the same problems every week. He (REX) preaches putting the best players on the field, and we have Sanchez on offense and Pouha/Devito on defense.

    Fire Tanny and keep Rex.

Tanny has done an awful job and should pay the price...

Last four first round picks says it all....

Sanchez(Looking like it may be a bust, atleast for the 5th overall pick)
    Wilson (bust)
Wilkerson(most people on here claim hes a beast but my eyes show me a VERY mediocre player)
Coples(Jury is still out, but its a VERY bad sign he can't beat devito out right not)

Not to mention our 2 second round picks in the last four years that we have had...

    Ducasse(BUST)
Hill(jury is still out, way to early)

http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?teamId=3430&type=team You can even go back further. We haven't had a good draft since 2007. The best thing tanny did was get Thomas Jones and Braylon Edwards in free agency. He needs to go. Jury is still out on rex if you ask me. He needs to show something this season to warrant him staying. I'm tired of him showing his inexperience just like Sanchez. Maybe he just can't handle everything it takes to be a head coach in this league.

Obviously it's still too early to tell with this years draft class but you would like to see your first and second round picks contribute to your team. Also it wouldn't hurt to find a couple diamonds in the rough here and there. Plenty of other teams have done it.

Completely agree first and second rounders should be starters from day 1.

God we have had by far the worst drafts the least 5 or years...

The only way you can fire a GM and keep a HC is if you hire someone in house, so I ask you, who in house would you promote to GM? You want the Terry Bradway experience again?

A bit off topic and I'm not trying to pile on or anything, but thinking about some of these terrible moves from Tannebaum (Gholston, Wilson, Holmes contract, Sanchez extension, etc., etc.) can you imagine if we were successful in bringing in Nnamdi last year??? Talk about cap hell for what turned out to be an aging player. It seems to always be the big splash they are looking for to sell tickets and stay on the back page...

Excellent point. The fact is Cro is just as good if not better, but the Jets went for the high profile move and then, when that failed, they had to pay Cro more to keep him, that being all they were left with for Plan B.
