So happy the Yankees rallied for a late comeback. At least they kept me sane for today.

3 left with the much hated red sox, they won't be gimmie games either.
O's have 3 with the Rays, who i hope do a little damage, right now the O's are simply cranking, who'd have thought?

if the O's and Yanks end up tied I think,it's a one game playoff in baltimore for the division.

So this really sucks..if we end up in a tie with Baltimore we have a one game playoff and the loser gets the wildcard and has a second one game playoff the next day...good job Joe.

Yeah we really fucked this up. To be fair, Baltimore has been ON FIRE. I think Tampa still has something to play for, that bodes well.

it bodes very well, it counteracts the joy that the red sox would experience messing up the yankees season, neither the O's or the Yanks are gonna have any gimmies here. gonna be interesting. could it come down to a game in blatimore on thursday night with Andy on the hill? Hope it doesn't go that far.

Phelps now slated to pitch tomorrow, in Nova's stead.

red sox resting many regulars tonight. Valencia, Lin, Iglesias, and Gomez in the lineup.

    4-0 Yankees

Pull CC soon to save him for the one game playoff, if necessary?

We need the A's to lose tonight so the Rays still have something to play for tomorrow.

A's still have something to play for, the division, which could lead the Yankees to get the BOR and the number 1 seed.

    3 words- Robinson Can-Do Cano (actually that's 4 words)
18 for his last 27, en fuego.
They're all must wins, but tonight is a must must win.
I thought Joe G. left CC in too long, easy to call the next morning after but it's true.
the guy's been complaining about his elbow and he leaves him in his last 2 starts
for 8 innings and over 100 plus pitches with big leads. If the Yanks don't have a bullpen that can hold that lead for 2 or 3 innings, that is not a good sign for the post season.

Why the hell is the the best hitter on the team batting 5th. I swear Girardi is a moron.

Joe G. has had me in total confusion since he took office as manager my good man.
    C'mon Yanks, 2-0 Red Sox top 2.
Damnit, with two outs Arod had a tough over the shoulder catch and couldn't throw the guy out at first. Tough ball, Two outs is when i'm most on edge.
    Ok, out of the inning.
Cano to lead off, our best hitter, who is 18 for his last 29, something sick like that, and Joe G. has him in the 5 hole. gadzooks.

I have come to think that the worst managers in baseball are ex-catchers..they used to be the best but after Torre and Girardi my opinion has totally changed. They "think" they know how to handle pitchers and in fact are absolutely crazy when it come to actually doing it..especially when it comes to the bullpen.
