Brian Hartline is leading the league in receiving. Let's let that sink in a moment. Good QB's make their WR's when the chips are down against them. Period.
i just want to see him get angry! all he wants to do is hit the clubs after the game. get fucking mad!
yeah I was at the game, saw a guy who never had any time to throw, had abxolutely no run game to help, always backed up b/c the D allowed SF's O to dicttae field position and unopen WRs all game long.
Sanchez has definitely been terrible the last 12 quarters. He just can't seem to get on the same page as the rest of his O. As fans, we're at a point where we can say definitively that Sanchez will never be that elite talent that we hoped he'd be. But what, exactly, does putting Tebow in there do for us? The Jets would go from using a QB who can pass but makes terrible decisions to a QB who can't pass. Also, our group of WRs are simply nowhere near Demaryius Thomas, no Erick Decker, or even a freaking Brandon Stokley. I strongly believe that this year's issue comes down to coaching on the offensive side of the ball. Sporano is a terrible offensive coordinator. One would have had greater expectations from Sanjay, who did a great job with the mediocre talent over in Oakland. While it feels like the offensive system sucks, that the talent in the personnel is not going to rise to either their potential or the challenge, the Jets have got to give them at least through the first New England game before heads start to roll. I hope that Sporano goes first.
You must have spent a lot of time in the bathroom because whenever the Red Zone Channel went to the Jets game Sanchez had plenty of time to make the throws, he just missed the target and sometimes wasnt even close. I have not seen the entire game yet (I'll watch it tonight) but from what I saw and have read, Sanchez was worse then horrible. I am sure you realize defenses do get pressure on a QB and he still needs to perform under those circumstances. Sanchez clearly does not.
Is that why Sanchez is throwing it directly to the other team into double coverage, overthrowing wide open receivers, skipping passes off the ground and throwing passes into no where all when he has plenty of time? He has been playing like absolute shit. Rookies come into the league and play at a much higher level. There are obviously many other people playing poorly too. You're acting like Sanchez is playing just fine. If you really believe that then it is you that doesn't understand what you're watching. Sanchez is playing like a 7th round rookie.
yes it is and which wide open WRs did he overthrow? I'm not acting like sanchez is playing fine b/c he isn't but I don't blame him when he has abolsutely no help and despite all of it we are 2-2 thanks mainly to the pass game which has been mising his favorite weapon and now lost his 2nd favorite.
So you don't watch. Pretty much every receiver on the team to this point he's missed when they were wide open. Yes you are! People are complaining about Sanchez playing like a douchebag and you're saying "anyone blaming Mark doesn't know what they are watching". We know what we're watching. We're watching a QB suck dick at playing QB. Don't tell us we don't know what we're watching. You don't even appear to be watching if you don't know what receivers he missed that were wide open.
that happened some last week, not so much this week and many of throwns last week were as he was getting hit so that affects accuracy, wouldn't you agree? Those that don't know are bamaing him solely(just like they blamed the OC solely last year). Mark doesn't have a chance out there, the entire offense stinks- coaching, OL, RBs, QB, WRs, TEs- everything and everyone associated w/ the offense so those blaming the QB don't have a clue what they are watching.
Come on...he can study all he wants, read the D, understand his protections, know where the receivers are or should be, but if he doesnt have the physical skills to get the job done, he is not a starting NFL QB. I haven't seen a QB who needs everythgin to be in it's place to succeed ever become great. The guys who are good have the ability to take charge and make thigns happen. Mark doesn't do that. If you could give Tebow the limited skills Mark does have, he'd be a pretty darn good quarterback. At the end of the day though, we don't have that guy on this roster. It's just too bad, but it's true. After 4 years, when will you admit reality?
he has succeeded w/o everything being in place, our run game and D were vastly overrated 2 years ago. sanchez was a key player getting us to 11 wins. to act like he's never done anything isn't fair.
The D was not #1 in 2010(2012-2=2010), the rush yardage was #3 but that was very misleading b/c it had a great garbage time game from Joe McKnight and all of Brad Smith's run. in 2009 we ran the ball w/ RBs, in 2010 our RBs were ok. Very similar production to your RBs in 2010 yet we won 4 more games. Sanchez has to bail the team out numerous times w/ late game comebacks through the air, he had a talented WR corps then though.
seriously? Your seats must be REALLY high up, because yesterday may have been his worst game since the Buffalo game his ROOKIE season..... overthrows and offtargets all over the place. Yes, the talent (or lack of) deserves equal blame, because they suck too, but Sanchez played like absolute shit yesterday.
Actually I had pretty nice seats but they were on the sideline so it is hard to see the play develop. I didn't say he was good, he was terrible. My objection is to blaming it all on him. he's in an impossible spot to succeed right now.
Forgive me. They were #3 in total defense not one. Your use of garbage time in nearly every post you attempt to justify the unjustifiable is hilarious. I will give you credit for being resilent though. As for Sanchez not having weapons, Ryan Tannehill has Brian Hartline leading the NFL in yardage. Yes, that same Brian Hartline that is part of a horrible WR corps. Sometimes the QB has to step up and make those around him bettr. Sanchez doesnt do that.
yep and blew late leads vs. Minny, Cle, Hou, blew big lead at Chi, nearly blew Miami game but the rankings tell us they were #3 so they must have been great! I guess that's why we needed so many late game comebacks through the air. Hartline made plays yesterday and you still lost, right? did you face the SF D? when you faced Hou you scored 3 pts. Through 4 games when he had Chansi Stuckey starting in his rookie year he was 3-1 not 1-3 so let's relax w/ tannehill- the man who threw the INT that set up the game losing FG.
