Yea he hugged him grabbed him down and pulled on his facemask. What else is more textbook in the definition of P.I.?
I always thought you ice a kicker in their comfortable range 20-40 yards. Any long kicks, you let them get one kick at or ice way before the ball is snapped to make them think. Don't let them practice a long kick. The Giants pushed their luck at the end once too much. Got a questionable PI on Nnamdi on 3rd down and then tried to get him one more time, offensive PI which was clear as day
I thought of that, but they couldn't risk a run or short pass over the middle because they had no timeouts - it would have had to be a short pass to the sideline, and that is a high risk pass for an INT. I think the call was bad, but the offensive PI was the killer.
well one or the other I think eli has earned the trust so you have faith that he won't be stupid and throw it short over the middle/take a sack he'll go long or go to the sidelines (even a 4 or 5 yard gain would've been big)
Yeah I would too. I understand why they didn't do it, and I understand why they took the shot at the EZ with Barden, but 50+ is real long for Tynes.
