    Let the rookies and young guys work themselves out. Haven't you fuckin learned that!

    Er.. uh, what I've learned is that these guys either can't catch a ball or can't stay healthy long enough to do it...

    Yep, exactly. This season is trash anyway--if there is any way to make something out of this mess it is to use the remaining season to evaluate talent and give playing time to the players with the most potential to see what we can develop. It is time to take this step for the Jets future and really rebuild this team from the bottom up.

    The young guys they have aren't going to be NFL caliber receivers. Kerley is a 3...Hill is a raw 2 that is hurt and holmes is hurt. So you have a bunch of guys that haven't done anything in the league.

    Bring in a veteran that Sanchez can at least have confidence throwing the ball to. Burress is that guy as a stop gap until you get some healthy bodies on the field.

    if you believe that, then why keep sanchez in there wetting the bed, instead of playing mcelroy at qb? how about davis instead of turnstile scott at lb?
    mc intyre instead of pace/thomas? powell instead of greene? reuland instead of cumberland? :wink:

    that idiot does not know what he is doing. is he gonna give him a guaranteed contract, like sanchex, wayne hunter, bart scott? no wonder this team is such a mess. it starts at the very top.:drunk:

    I get your point but the Jets have no choice but to bring stop gaps. None of our receivers outside of Holmes and to a lesser extent Kerley are any good. Hill has potential but he's not ready. So we need to bring in PROVEN guys that can come in and produce until our young guys improve.

    We can bring in Plax because he has history with Sanchez and he made some big catches for the Jets last year (Chargers game from 2011)

    Terrell Owens is a guy that can stretch the field. Something we badly need.
