This is a QB league, and we don't have one.

Bw free agency, the draft, and any potential trades what are some viable options for ' 13?

Sanchez will be QB in 2013, there is really no way around it.

That is true plus I think it's fair to see if he can turn things around by his 5th season. If things remain like this then we need to see what we have in McElroy.

Offer Seattle a third rounder for Matt Flynn.

And then when Matt Flynn doesn't pan out? Seriously the fans of this franchise are more of a joke than the franchise itself. The fact that RUSSELL WILSON is starting ahead of FLYNN should be a huge fucking red flag.

Sanchez isn't making it out of this season, right now he's dead last in completion % with a 78 passer rating, he's in his fourth year, he's not a rookie.

Regardless of performance, money dictates he will be the starting QB in 2013, and I'm pretty sure he is untradeable right now, so it is what it is.

He took two teams to the AFCCG that didn't have dogshit for a receiving corps. That doesn't mean he is great, but it also doesn't mean we're fucked with him as QB. When your receivers are now Kerley-Schillens-Gates-Turner, tight ends are Cumberland-Epps, and running backs are Greene-Powell, sprinkled with a dose of Tebow running a couple of negative plays per drive, I dont think any quarterback besides Manning or Brady is going to win dick.

Maybe the 6th season, or hell the 7th was good for Alex Smith. Fuck, just give him Manning money, and let him retire a jet 10 years from now.

Yes, this organization needs to trade another top 4 round draft pick.

It's so hard to find a QB in the NFL today. You basically have to either have a terrible season, get a top pick, and draft one that most scouts are convinced is gonna be good like a Luck, RG3, both Mannings, etc, or get lucky with one towards the end of the first round or later in the draft. You never know how they are going to adapt to the NFL.

They are rarely available in free agency and I cant think of any backups who are stuck behind star QB's that we could trade for.

McElroy will take snaps with the 1's this week, imo.

I will do a friendly wager, say $100 that Sanchez is not the starter by the end of this season. A professional team simply cannot send a guy out there to play the way he does.

Sanchez had a top defense and running game when the Jets went to AFCCG's.

    Draft
    Geno Smith
    Tyler Bray

    Trade Targets
None really aren't many back ups who could be great starters

In the NFL you typically draft your guy and develop him

I want Geno Smith or Tyler Bray
