When he has time, he misses his targets. When he has no time and is getting pressured he throws the ball like a scared 3rd grader. Maybe it's time to just accept he's never gonna be more then average.
Sanchez stopped by my place after the game. He was visibly upset and quite contrite. Said he was sorry for his bad performance in today's game and swore he's do better next week. Then he took a shit in my bathroom and left without flushing. Motherfucker. That's twice today.
Titans had a punt return, kick return, and INT return ripped from a WR hands for a win against the lions. Also had a WR plucking the ball off of a DBs back for 70 yards. All the stops and barely beat the Lions. Vikings have Adrian Peterson and better pass rush than us.
a shorter guy, with a pop-gun arm, who only started one year in college, and has a dear-in-the-headlights look with a decent pass rush may not be worth a first-round pick after all. no wonder the tuna didn't draft qbs in the first round. he prefers pass rushing lineman or backers, franchise running backs or receivers. you know, guys who actually can win you a game you're not supposed to win and not lose a game you're not supposed to lose. sanchez can go play for the new team in LA when they get one. it'll be a circus move by the new LA gm, mike tanneydude. ....hmy:
Too early to tell. Their OC and QB played better aganst SF than we did, but I have seen Sanchez play that well before. Minny also created turnovers. Pretty solid team this year as long as Peterson can stay healthy
He needs to sit. Still no worry he will be replaced (as per Sanchez..not worried at all). They thought Tebow would give him competition and light a fire under him. Then Tebow threw the ball in practice and Mark became worry free. They should start McElroy. At least he showed to be accurate and play smart in pre-season.
amen! they gave sanchez and tebow about 90% of the snaps in training camp and pre-season, yet the offense looked like crap. the only guy who looked halfway decent was mc elroy. it's like hard knocks two years ago where rbs fumbled the ball and rex sent woodhead in , saying he won't fumble. guy gets tough yards and plays like a jet, only to get cut later in favor of washed-up ravens cuts. rex should have learned from that. take off the sanchez-colored glasses and bench this guy already, along with at least 5 other non-performers.
That was probably the best pass play of the day for the Jets, until a no name WR fumbled. Tebow would have more success with this team than Sanchez, I am not declaring that Tebow is the answer, but I have no doubt in my mind that Tebow can do more with the limited talent we have than Sanchez. Tebow's skill set allows him to do more on his own, so he doesn't need to rely on the prowess of our substandard receivers for all of his play making ability. We have a critical 4 game stretch ahead, we need to go 2-2 or better for Sanchez to retain his job. If we lose at home to Indy or Miami and he doesn't improve significantly, he gets benched at the bye.
My boy Tannehill sure looks good though for a rookie! Can't wait until 3-4 years from now when Brady is retired, Jets have no QB, Bills will be Bills and we will own the division for years!
