He didn't lose the ball, he tossed it away as if he thought the play was over. It has nothing to do with being tough. He was just careless.

Source says Santonio Holmes' foot x-rays were negative, which would be great news for the Jets. Rich Cimini passing that along. #NFL

that was a ridiculous play. Hold onto the damn ball and wait for the stretcher to arrive. you would think he had some major injury - turns out the xrays are negative.

I'd rather have Ochocino and Owens over him anyway in all honesty

after seeing the replays, saw nothing to indicate a "serious" injury. Throwing the ball away in something we should all expect; guy has no soul. Who knows maybe he has planter faciatious (or however you spell it), get him to the good feet store and some custom orthotics. SHould be able to go next week.

HOLD ONTO THE BALL YOU VAGINA

My not yet three year old son fell off the couch backwards today and hit his head -- did this while holding a Jets football. Know what he did?? Held on to the fucking ball!

correct and still we have fans defending that horrible maneuver as if spraining your ankle is now an excuse to commit a turnover. whats next, guys giving Sanchez a break for an INT b/c he chipped a fingernail?

If he held on the ball would've it made a difference in the game?. Walk down the street carrying something and get shot in the leg and see if you would grab your leg.

seriously, what are the odds that two players on the same team get injured by the turf while playing?

is there any issue with the training staff? revis hurt on miami turf and tone on home turf while planting leg/foot.. sure looks suspicious.

it was a foot injury, x-rays came back negative. so that's all good news, but he needs to hold onto that ball.

a new general manager actually qualified for the job, who hires scouts who can actually identify talent.
meaning guys who have a consistent track record of results in their college career. that means at division 1, 2 or 3. you never know who you can find all the way down into round 6 ( brady) or 7 if your scouts are on the ball.
