I think Rex will make the switch at QB. Someone asked Rex and he looked pissed...He said on SNY "I am not ready to make a QB change yet, but we obviously need better play from our quarterback." While shaking his head (probably all the things hes thinking) Also someone asked about Mcelroy and he said he isn't even up yet...Look for him to get more reps now.
No he wont. If it took fucking Rex Ryan two seasons to get rid of Wayne Hunter, Shonn Greene is still freaking taking Bilal Powells snaps, Coples is STILL not playing the majority of the time he should be playing, what makes you think Rex "I HATE CHANGE" RYAN will make a switch at QB.
i got a sneaking suspicion we will surprise some ppl next week. people have to realize that the texans will not go 16-0 so they will lose unexpectedely one of these weeks
I have a hard time envisioning a scenario where the Texans don't run for 150+ yards on our slow ass defense.
JJ Watt is going to destroy Sanchez and his dinking and dunking...Remember what Clay Mathews did when Packers came into town
The problem is Tebow sucks. He's not even an unknown like a lot of backups are or someone who hasnt played in a while who was a big time prospect at one point like a David Carr. Tim Tebow is so bad. He's gonna run for the occasional first down and complete about 47% of his passes. He does not give us an upgrade over Sanchez. If the Jets ever did decided to make a QB change i'd much rather see McElroy get a shot.
ive seen sanchez throw 1 too many picks to opposing d fucking lineman. for the very first time in my life i turned down tickets to a game (next week). I refuse to give the NYJ any money of mine until they put a credible product on the field. this isnt a result of poor luck or underperformance....this is a result of terrible roster management, moves to make headlines and total bullshit management.
Yes thats hoping that the Yankees win the goddamn division and dont have to play that stupid wildcard game. Fuck the Orioles.
agreed. If anyone saw Tebow or McElroy play in preseason (especially Tebow) would know they aren't the answer. The last thing we need is to undermine our starting QB. Maybe we should put Tebow in next game 4th quarter just to give people a dose of reality, so we can move forward without any false illusions that this offense would do better with Tebow under center. This team shouldn't be concerned about losing against the Texans they should be worried about playing proper football. Tackling, not turning the ball over, stopping the run, putting together offensive drives and points on the board. Maybe if we can do that then we can find our identity and beat teams who are at a similar level as us like the Colts, Rams, and Dolphins. At this point we would be hard pressed to beat ANY team in the NFL. Let's hope this team doesn't come apart at the seams like last year.
When we get blown out by Texans... gonna need a bigger clown car! Hope all the JETS players get plenty of sleep and rest this week.
Here's the problem: Rex doesn't like to admit he made a mistake. Blowing out Sanchez is a huge admission of defeat.
