I agree, I'd much rather see McElroy than Tebow at this point.

Look, Sanchez hasn't played great, but this isn't all on him. Remember that defense that many considered the best in the league at the beginning of the season let up about fifty yards in about a minute to a shitty 49'ers passing offense. Thats unacceptable. Those two turnovers probably have costed us at least six points, but you got to put some blame on the defense.

The defensive line is just getting handled easily, there is no pass rush, and the coverage has been spotty.

At some point, you can only blame the OL and coaching so much before being forced to conclude that Sanchez is just not a good QB.

Well at least we open with the Ball. We need to score or else this is hopeless.

We were down 10-0 last week so its not impossible, just much harder.

I just don't know how much longer this franchise can give Sanchez. He looks lost out there most of the time. I still think he could be good with a strong set of skill players around him, but how can anyone be sure of that? What if we spend the next three years assembling better talent around him and find he is still lost out there?

I'm watching red zone, it's amazing to watch other teams who know how to tackle a RB.

Sanchez is David Carr bad. Let's stop making excuses for him.

Really, everything about the offense sucks. Sanchez does too, but it's impossible to develop into a competent QB on such a joke of an offense. Alex Smith is showing bad QBs can at least not hurt you on a good team.

This is the result of an incompetent GM and a head coach who thinks like a DC more than any one player.

So we're supposed to replace 'one of' the worst QB's in football with THE worst QB in football?

Only if you never have him throw 'at all'.

Sanchez is the exact same player he was in year one, and looks the same whether the OC is Schottenheimer or Sparano. The logical conclusion is that he is a below average QB and should not be starting in the NFL.

The last two weeks were the best games I have ever seen Sanchez play. He looked like a real QB with some pocket presence, stepping up in the pocket and showing some actual toughness taking hits while throwing the ball. He also improved his footwork and was throwing with more confidence and authority. He had seemed to mostly solve his panic problem where he freezes at the sight of a rush. I don't see any of the improvements today. Today he is back to lowering his head in the pocket and running blindly, not setting his feet and panicking in the pocket.

If we are going to stand a chance today we need the Sanchez of the last two weeks not the one playing today that we have seen for the last 3 years.
