So the general vibe I am getting is that most people here dont expect us to win. I agree with that... Revis out, Keller out, Hill out. It is pretty close to impossible for us to pull out with a win. Everything is going to have to click and work on all cylinders in order for us to win. So, my point is, are we going to go crazy after a loss that most of us think is very likely? The 49ers are a better so lets not act like its the end of the world once this game is over. If we win, then thats fucking awesome and unbelievable. But if not, there's no need to start 15 threads on "we need a press conference. NOW." and bullshit like that. Lets at least hope for a competitve game
no matter what happens in the game, you can be assured you will read posts here about how sanchez sucks, sparano is an idiot, rex is overrated, our defense sucks, kyle wilson sucks, coples is a bust, etc.
You are right, but if the Jets get run out of their own building against a good team, I'm sure they will provide a fair amount of topics to rightfully vent about.
I'm sure people will go crazy either way. Personally I'm anticipating a loss so I won't be upset. Even if we lose next week to the Texans I won't be upset. As long as we win two of three against the Pats, Dolphins and Colts and go into the bye week at 4-4 I'll be okay. Anything less I'll be worried, anything better I'll be pretty optimistic.
When everyone picks against the Jets, they usually do rather well! I am expecting us to do very well.
If the Jets leave everything they have on the field and the coaches don't break weak or are out coached, then that's all that can be asked. May the best team win and the Jets get the luck card. I never bet against my team. Go Jets!!! As for post game comments, it depends on how paragraph 1 is executed.
A little sunshine to consider... Revis against SF was probably a non factor as they don't throw long often. Keller has been out a couple weeks and Hill really hasn't gotten started. Our back ups at TE and WR are not far below our starters... Shcillens actually looked pretty good last week. The TE (who's name has escaped me) didn't look horrible either. Time for the bench to step up, gain some respect.
The games I expect the Jets to come out and play well, we lose. The games when we have what seems to be unsurmountable circumstances, we usually play well.
To answer your question, today is the opposite of last week, if we lose, we were suppose to lose, if we win, it's a big win. Unless the just plain suck, nothing negative can be taken away from today's game.
Screw the Niners! We can win this. As for this board. It will be full retard no matter what happens. It is what it is.
that's just it...if the jets dont execute, drop balls, look like shit make no mistake ppl will be pissed. if the jets lose this game (speaking for myself), but play a nice clean game I'd be hard pressed to be pissed off.
People will go crazy, but they shouldn't. It's a non-conference game, and the Jets are banged up. I fully expect a loss today, and if they do lose, it certainly isn't a critical loss. It'll still suck as always though.
