The Eagles have played like shit all year. They're overdue for a clean performance. Their defense is good
Thinking about this I would put Cro on Moss, Wilson and Crabtree and let Landry cover Davis. Landry is the only one on or D that is fast enough and strong enough to cover Davis. If he is lined on on a linebacker forget it. Let the run stoppers focus on Gore and maybe we might pull out a 10-7 score type win. Its going to be a low scoring game more than likely.
Even better nothing like flying cross country through Ohio with a 6 day layover to screw up your digestive track.
If the media picks the Giants in a landslide, the Eagles will win. If the media picks the Eagles in a landslide, the Giants will win. If the media can't choose, some flukey play will happen and this game will not reflect the season each team will have. That's how Giants-Eagles usually work or the NFC East works. Didn't the Redskins sweep the Giants last year? And there was that one year where the Cowboys swept the Giants who swept the Eagles who swept Cowboys or something like that. Jets need to get off to a quick lead, force SF to get away from their run game and turn Alex Smith into the focal point of the offense, and contain Vernon Davis. The secondary should be able to handle the WR crew if they aren't creeping up to stop the run.
Control the ball, with Sanchez having a big game. The defense must control Gore, and put some kind of pressure on Smith. Truly a lot to ask, but isn't that what we do when we get ready for game time?
