I make him a beautiful jersey and he goes away, if I had known I would have made it sooner Tommy...

    Of course this happened.

    Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger
Rick Nash injured his shoulder in Swiss game. His agent, Joe Resnick says he was taken out of game and will be re-evaluated in a cpl days

    Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger
Resnick stressed, Nash's injury is shoulder and not head as some have speculated. Taken out of game for precautionary reasons.

Im here, IM here. The jersey is fantastic MR. Hahaahhahah. Heres my guarantee.

Dubi and Arti will not have 25 goals combined. And I'll pro-rate over a full season if we end up losing games to this labor bullshit, which we most likely will

Contrary to the hysteric internet rumors — are there any other kind? — Rangers sniper Rick Nash suffered no more than a bone bruise to his shoulder last week while playing for HC Davos, his Swiss League team during the NHL lockout.

    Matt,
I'm gonna bust out about 20 mojo candles and light them in order to get this season salvaged by next week. It won't work, but what the fuck right?

What do you think of the Gilroy signing Tommy? Last year with all the injuries the Bolts had him on the top pair with Brewer and he did a very good job, in an injury pinch he could play with Staal on the 2nd pair...

that's so infuriating yet so laughable at the very same time. that type of ignorance, although once not as prevalent, is now simply everywhere you look. it's the internet's fault.

If this don't end, I am going to get a bunch of friends together and head up to CT to see a Whale game. Going to go balls out and get a suite. Everything is dirt cheap, including 2 dollar beers. Only pain in the balls, its almost 3 hours from staten island.

I watched the Whale preason game Saturday on Ustream. The Rangers tweeted the link. I hope all the games will be on Ustream.

That email is from last Friday:

As a New York Rangers Season Subscriber, you are an integral part of the Blueshirts family. We greatly appreciate your support and patience as the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association continues to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement. To the extent that the league announces further schedule cancellations, in specific, games at Madison Square Garden, important information related to your subscription and your options is detailed below.

Please know that your investment in the 2012-13 New York Rangers season tickets is fully protected. As described below, you will be credited for any home games lost (and not re-scheduled) for which you have paid. We are offering our subscribers two options for how the team will handle money that has already been paid to the Rangers for games that will not be played: (1) crediting your account through the "True Blue" Program or (2) processing a refund.

True Blue Program (Option 1) - Select the "True Blue" Program to keep your money on account and that money will earn interest at an annual rate of 2% effective November 1, 2012. Interest will be credited to your Rangers season subscription account and applied (along with the amounts for prepaid games that are not played) to your 2012-13 season subscription, the purchase of 2013 NHL Playoff tickets or towards your 2013-14 season tickets. Interest will accrue until either the resolution of the labor dispute or the end of the month in which a full season cancellation is announced, whichever comes first. To select the "True Blue" Program, please opt in by Friday, October 19th.

Refund Program (Option 2) - If you choose the Refund Program, you will be credited 1% annual interest on your 2012-13 season ticket account effective November 1, 2012. Interest will accrue until either the resolution of the labor dispute or the end of the month in which a full season cancellation is announced, whichever comes first.

For Accounts that are paid in full for 2012-13 season tickets by the end of November, refunds will be paid at the end of November and each month thereafter that the work stoppage continues, in an amount equal to the ticket value of all games cancelled for that month, plus interest earned during that month.

For Accounts that are not paid in full for 2012-13 season tickets by the end of November, monthly refunds and interest payments will be paid once the value of the remaining games scheduled is less than the amount on the season ticket account. For example, if you have paid $6,000 toward a $10,000 total cost for season tickets, you will start receiving a monthly refund when the value of remaining games is less than $6,000.

Should you choose to take advantage of the Refund Program, please opt in by Friday, October 19th.

Please note that if you fail to elect either program by Friday, October 19th, you will automatically be enrolled in the Refund Program (Option 2).

Click Here to choose your option.

Ha, they better be careful how they word that. If they reimburse for every home loss, they'll lose a lot of money.

That's good that they resigned Gilroy. I didn't realize they could sign players during the lockout. I guess it's not the same as the NFL where you couldn't conduct any business at all.

"home games lost" is very misleading. Because of the MSG remodeling the Rangers were supposed to play the first 8 games of the season on the road. So home games wouldn't be officially cancelled for a while. But to balance the schedule for all teams home & away, you necessarily have to cancel an equal amount of home games. So to be fair every away game cancelled should count as a home game cancelled

Matt Gilroy wears the number 97 in remembrance of his deceased brother Timmy, who died as the result of a bicycle accident at eight years old. Separated by 13 months, Matt and Timmy played on the same hockey teams growing up and wore the numbers 98 and 97, respectively, in homage to Wayne Gretzky.

lockout is going to end soon. Owners just offered 50/50 split of HRR starting this year and an 82 game season starting November 2. NHLPA will probably reject it as-is but they will come together soon
