I'm watching Texas/OKST on FOX.They often don't even show the score, and they never show the time remaining. They just tell you the quarter. This is bizarre.
more horrible refs Texas is given a touchdown. Not only did the RB not break the plane, he fumbled and OKST recovered. But they rule a touchdown and review it and uphold the TD.
the review was so quick, I'm not even sure they looked at it. Had they spent more than 5 seconds reviewing it, they could've seen the RB didn't even have the ball! Don't you have to see the ball cross the plane to rule it a TD? The refs on the field were incompetent, and whoever was in the booth was too lazy to do his job.
MSU should have won too...recovered a fumble and had a clear lane to the end zone but it was blown dead, that the runner (well, QB although he looked more like a RB to me) went down. They reversed it and it was a fumble recovery for MSU but they only got a FG out of it and ended up losing by one point. Lame.

South Carolina @ LSU Big game at LSU with Spurrier's Gamecocks coming in. Thoughts and predictions? LSU, coming off a big loss at Florida, will be out for blood at home against South Carolina; but South Carolina has the most to play for at this point. My take: LSU defense will be tenacious, but the LSU offense, which is incredibly bad despite being loaded with talent, will falter against SC's excellent defense. I hate it but I have to believe that once again Les Miles will get outcoached. Prediction: Not the bravest prediction, but I'm looking for a low scoring victory by South Carolina.
Both defenses are great. Neither offensive line will be able to handle the other team's defensive front. In the end, I think South Carolina has more big-time playmakers than LSU. Shaw is better at taking care of the ball, Lattimore is better than the LSU backs, and LSU's offensive line injuries will catch up to them again. 13-3 South Carolina
On paper, LSU's OL and Mettenberg's sketchy play don't bode well vs. SC's front 7, esp. Clowney & Taylor. SC will probably overload in the box against Spencer Ware and dare Mettenberg to take some shots deep. Only problem with that is that LSU's starting left tackle Faulk is out. Only thing going for LSU is their home field crowd, a great defense themselves and with their backs to the wall they'll no doubt come out with great intensity as the wounded (dangerous?) bear in this fight. Watch for Les Myles to pull out a wildcat package (installed in practice this week) featuring Ware who was was a QB in HS should the Tiger offense sputter (good chance) and if LSU's 'D' can somehow keep it within 10 pts. That said, my guess is SC 17-6.
The only way LSU wins this game is to establish the run, which they havent been able to do the last three weeks despite having four starting caliber running backs
Stanford gets robbed of an obvious TD at the end. I like how the media constantly noted that the Division I refs refused to be replacement refs in the NFL. in the last three weeks they awarded a TD at the end for Texas when the player fumbled it almost 1 yard before getting in the end zone, and then ruled Stanford's player didn't get into the end zone when clearly did. both far worse calls than the Seattle/Green Bay game. good thing the Div I refs weren't replacements, who knows how much worse it would have been.
Vandy took it to the Gators tonight. They played big. Vandy is building a good program. Glad to see it. Gators 31 Vandy 17. Game was closer than the score suggests.
