With our without Revis the Jets defense have not gotten to the QB for the most part in 3 games. Watching the Seattle game they had 8 sacks in the first half. We have 3 sacks so far this season and they came from Garret Mcyntyre and Pouha against the Steelers in week 2. Where is our pass rush gonna come from and when is it gonna come into play??? Wheres Maybin been all season, We went out and drafted Coples in the first round for what???? I was expecting bigger things from Wilkerson and hopefully he will get to that point but where is the pass rush coming from and when is it gonna start? If we can't get to the QB without Revis back there then were really screwed!!!!

Pouha had a sack too. We had a good rush in the Steelers game just poor tackling. He was being pressured but in typical Big Ben fashion he was throwing our tacklers off and dodging really well.

It was nonexistent in the Buffalo and Miami games. They need to step it up, Coples has done jackshit it'd be nice to get some production from him.

good thing we resigned Bryan Thomas because he's atleast a double digit sack guy,Wait no he's not he's just another old body and waste of space on our defense

We had a good rush against the Steelers because they have one of the absolute worst offensive lines in football.

Id say the Steelers and Eagles are definitely two teams who are either a lock, or close to it for 2 of the 5 worst offensive lines in the league.

I was a fan of the Coples pick and am willing to give him time...but he hasn't shown much of anything so far. He's gotta do something soon or I'm going to start to wonder about it as well.

He showed he can get pressure in the pre season, now it's about time he steps up in the regular season and starts to get a rush going.

One thing he's always been good at is sealin the edge/run D, you can't tell me we can't use a guy like that vs SF and HOU.

I agree. I've barely heard the announcers mention his name, like Mario Williams in his first two games (he had a good game in week 3). He's been invisible. Even if he isn't putting up sacks and tackles for losses at least if he's pressuring the QB I'll be happy, I haven't even noticed him (or any of our pass rushers) doing that on any real level.

He's young and got a lot to learn about the game at the NFL speed and strength, obviously, but how many games does he get to not contribute much of anything before it starts to raise questions about his ability.

I don't get all the concern with Coples, the kid has barely been on the field in the regular season. I don't know why he isn't getting more playing time. Maybe the coaching staff are trying to send him a message of some sort due to his lack of intensity in practice? I don't know.

Point is, if he isn't getting the reps, he isn't going to be very productive.

Fitzpatrick gets rid of the ball very qucikly. he rarely gets sacked but he does throw the ball to the other team a lot which he did for us.

Who knows, Jet fans just like to bitch and whine.

But with the Revis injury Rex is absolutely going to be looking for a solution to this defense, so im really expecting Coples to be a critical part of it. Which hopefully means seeing his playing time increase accordingly

They aren't giving him enough reps. Throw him into the fire damnit. No more DeVito on passing downs!

bring in Andre Carter for the rest of the season...yes he's old but he had 10 sacks last year...or bring in Matt Roth.

Coples has hardly played. He has played only 65 of 214 defensive snaps so far.

It's time to unleash the beast, Rex.

I'm a little bit disappointed in Maybin thus far. He was looking really promising in the off season but hasn't really done anything yet. Pace is weak, Davis is still learning. I wouldn't mind bringing somebody in at this point for depth.

Yea - me too. I may go back and take a closer look at his play to see what's up. He's been invisible.
