TD to Kerley with 3:00 and change left on the clock to go up by three, then the game winning drive in OT. Despite no defense, no running game, no Keller, Wrs that cant get separation or catch the ball, and maybe a bit of luck.

    FYI.

If he didnt play like $hit most of the game, there would be no need for a comeback. Nice try though...

Over/under throws, throwing behind and not leading receivers, and no pocket awareness. Yep, he was stellar. Game ball...Sanchez.

He's done a lot of those kind of games. If not anything, we have to say he is clutch.

Credit Sanchez for not hanging his head and giving up when he was having a miserable day, but yea, i mostly agree this time.

    - On our first scoring drive, Hill makes the catch 7 pts instead of three
    - Refs don't fuck up the review on the Fasano "catch", 3 pts instead of seven
    - Kerley out runs the D, or somebody (yes including also Sanchez) makes a play on the ensuing downs, 7 pts instead of three
    - Sanchez nor Cumberland fuck up the play which ended up as a pick, 7 or 3 pts atleast
    - The D stops the Fins on their last drive of regulation, we win the game there

There were opportunities and plays to be made by several players, which they unfortunately left on the field, regardless, it doesn't take away the fact that Sanchez delivered yet again in the clutch, twice as a matter of fact.

It was a below average game for Sanchez. He needs to play better. I'll take the win, but this type of play won't win more games.

We knew Sanchez could do this.

    so much hate.

it's easy to understand why Mark gets so much hate unlike some other succesful qbs like a manning or rodgers who are pasty and ugly. Mark literally has it all, adonis body, GQ face, and a game to match.

betas crying themselves to sleep thinkin about a guy like mark

Except for the last few minutes of the game and the OT, Sanchez had as bad a game as he has ever had. He left 3-4 TDs on the field missing wide open receivers, was inaccurate all day, and had that horrible pick in the red zone when a FG would have given the Jets the lead.

I am a Sanchez supporter and I do think he lifts his play when the game is on the line late in the 4th quarter, but yesterday was a very discouraging game from many angles, including whether he is progressing at all.

Hey, I'm sure Sanchez is really happy to have a rookie with fumble-fingers as his split end and a tight end with no awareness at all as his outlet up the seams. I'm sure he's thrilled to watch Shonn Greene turn play action into no threat at all. I bet he's thrilled that he has no 3rd down back or outlet receiver out of the backfield. He's probably gob-snacking on the fact that his one solid receiver treats every throw to him as though it was an earth-shattering event, while dropping a fair amount of them.

I have total contempt for the talent that has been assembled on the offensive side of the ball this season and that contempt extends to Sanchez who is just a bad QB when he's surrounded by bad players.

The worst thing of course is that sooner or later we're likely to get worse than Sanchez at QB and then things are going to get really ugly.

And BTW, WTF is Kerley doing on the bench as often as he is? He's clearly the Jets third best player on offense right now. Sitting him to give Hill and Schilens more snaps is counter-productive in the extreme.

For the 2nd week in a row Sanchez wasn't good but he's not as terrible as the numbers would tell. Sometimes as a receiver or any other part of the offense you just have to help pick up your game. Not just stop dropping the easy passes but outside of Santonio no one is really handling any of the not perfect throws. Cumberland has been bad. Out of place not turning his head, and dropping balls. Powell dropped a ball where he had a ton of room to run.

Im hoping he picks up his play coming back home but he needs his receivers to get their act together. Sanchez hasn't been the main issue with the offense imo.

Marino has the most comebacks of all time at 36. He played for 17 years which gives him a 2.11 4th quarter comebacks average per year. In thee year Sanchez has 9 which is equal to three a year. He got his first one this year. This puts him on pace to crush the current record depending on his longevity. And I am not a huge Sanchez fan.

As long as it isn't the playoffs :)

It's good Sanchez can put together a drive when we need it, but I also want to see him progress where he can put his foot on his neck of a team and end them.
