Wilson is very good in coverage, but he does have trouble on screens and coming up, just imo. He shores that up, we will be ok at corner. He is a good player.

Definitely. Our entire scheme needs to change. Coverage sacks are pretty much gone now so something drastically needs to change so we can get some pressure.

I don't think he's good in coverage. But now with him being on the outside for the rest of the season it may benefit him.

well we are going zone and cover 2/3 with 4 man fronts and all.

Welker came back from torn ACL/MCL in 4 months. Revis will be fine.

Don't worry, this is Rex's best team since he's been with the Jets.

I believe so. The only saving grace would be a high commitment to a 1 year prove it year. Very significant injury for a CB. CB is the most reactive position in the game. Offensive players know what they are going to do, and defensive player needs to react. Very significant, and I couldn't justify a huge contract for a player that has knee surgury. JMHO.

No way is this a one game swing, that was the Dolphins yesterday with Davone Bess, Brian Hartline and Anthony Fasano. Remember when we played the Steelers way back in week 2 2012 without Revis?

We won't be facing rookie QB's with marginal WR's the rest of the season. We're not going 4-12, but if you thought we were going ~8-8 I don't know how you're rationalizing 7-9.

Terrible news ... but when I saw him go down without contact I already knew it was going to be bad.

The bottom line is, 31 other teams play defense without Revis. 12 of them even manage to make the playoffs without him. This defense just became all about generating a pass rush up front. Time for Coples, Wilkerson and Maybin to turn off their cloaks of invisibility.

Okay, so now it's official, we can talk about stuff like this.

Putting aside what one things of Wilson, and I am not a fan, that's only pat of the concern. Even if you like Wilson, the real problem with Revis out is what is behing Wilson. Look I would love to see Lankster and Truffant play well, but I have no real confidence in either of them.

Take the Bills game - Wilson played most of the snaps as the nickel back. The nickel back is the single most important and most used defensive bench player. So we get to see a lot of Lankster, and that is something we as fans are supposed to feel good about?

As for the season, well, I don't feel very good about it right now.

Just in the youtube tags only put what is after the v.

I would love to see the Jets switch from their 3-4 to an aggressive 4-3 with Coples, Wilkerson, Ellis and Pou'ha on the line. Harris, Pace and who the hell knows starting at the linebackers.

Did you not watch the Patriots last night? McCourty is their #1 and he had one of the worst games I have ever seen for a corner. Nobody can cover in this league anymore. We just need to generate a pass rush.
