No looking back you just have to move on and adjust and play the game. If were lucky he's back late in the season.

I've got some inside connections on the team.

It looks like a 2nd degree ACL strain with a very small tear that only penetrated the outer 15% of the ligament.

It is unlikely that any surgery will be required.

This is what I have been told.

Wonder if it was all that tackling he was doing and the leg just gave out. You don't see him usually make 5 jarring hits like he did in a half of a game like he did today

Pouncey did nothing. Revis cut back and did it to himself, and then he jumped over Pouncey.

If it's just a strain and minor tear it will be anti-inflammatories, icing to reduce swelling, and they'll brace and tape it tight to improve stability. He could possibly play with it in a couple of weeks. This assumes the injury is mild. They'll know for sure when they MRI his knee tomorrow.

He actually didn't report that at all. He reported that the Jets "fear" Revis likely has an ACL tear. He knows no more than we do because there hasn't been an MRI yet.

Having pointed out that verity, I'd be stunned if Revis wasn't out for the year.

How in the heck did he jump over Pouncey in the video? I agree Revis probably tore it before contact but I can't imagine Pouncey with a dirty block below the knees made it much better(Run wasn't even close to the area)

Well, this sucks. Cromartie and Wilson are just going to get molested week in and week out. This defense is not finishing in the top 10 for the first time in the Rex Ryan era.

My immediate impressions were he looked to be out for either a month with a sprain or the rest of the season with a tear. I didn't see us winning the next two games against 49s and Texans even if we had him. People were laughing at me saying the Jets are a 500 team and not playoff material, but in retrospect I'd say I was overly optimistic. Without Revis were a sub 500. 7-9

Laughable when Rex said at the start of the season it was the best team he's coached.

Eh. Maybe the offense gets going a little now. Every team has flaws. Plus Reggie Bush was running wild on teams and we knocked him for a loop. Maybe we smash Gores face in next week. Never know. They weren't all that today.

I would say that I would much rather finish 4-12 than 7-9 for the draft pick since either record isnt gettin a playoff birth, but we cant draft for shit anyways so whats it matter.

Our schedule is pretty weak. We have 3 playoff caliber teams on our schedule: 49s, Texans, & Cardinals. The rest are very winnable games. Hard to say if this team will fall apart if we start loosing and fold up tent. Anyways I don't have any confidence that the Jets front office would know what to do with good draft picks. Did you see them with put T-bow out there and run our secret Wildcat? Laughable really that we traded for him. All he is good for is fake punts, he can't throw or catch. It was funny today watching them put him out there as a WR like he'd draw attention.

I would much rather see Tebow enjoying himself down in Jacksonville than being wasted here.
