This will be a great chance for Rex to prove if hes truly the greatest defensive mind in the league or not

Rex cant make our LB's tackle, or our CB's cover or our DE's beat one on one blocking.

Look at the Steelers game. Yes, Rex did call a good game and put his defense in a position to win, but we didnt execute. If we cant execute, then who cares what play we call.

Im just being realistic, and losing Revis is a HUGE loss. We didnt look like a top 5 defense with him, hard to see us looking like a top 10 defense without him.

Didn't Revis hurt himself without being touched?

I also doubt Florio has some inside source here. No one will know anything until Revis gets his MRI.

Well see. Regardless if its a tear even if its a sprain it's a several week injury.

The Jets might as well move on without him in the gameplan.

    This is old news.

    There was no contact.

And what previous poster said. Reminded me of Iman Shumperts ACL tear, or even Derrick Rose's he jumped landed and tore it.

Mike Florio with breaking news that Revis may have, sort have, possibly could have torn his ACL, pending the evidence of tomorrows MRI of course.

Shumpert's was exactly what it reminded me of. No contact, no strain before use, it just went. And he crumpled and rolled in pain. Shump got carried off, Revis could walk, but probably won't see Revis for a long time

Cut him some slack guys... you know how long he has to drive to get from the political threads into this forum?

Besides, he hasn't been the same since Grill v Hobbes

I've got some inside connections on the team.

It looks like a 2nd degree ACL strain with a very small tear that only penetrated the outer 15% of the ligament.

It is unlikely that any surgery will be required.

This is what I have been told.

Well even if that were true I did a quick google search and found 2nd degree acl tears can take 4 to 6 weeks or even longer to recover.
