I have lived in Florida over 20 years so I guess if we are going on the, "I live here so I know" spin then my actual facts will be much more valid than your opinion. Lets leave out the "I live here so I know" and my facts still easily dispel your opinion. The fins record, at home, over the first 2 months of the season is worse than their Nov. thru Jan. record, at home, over the last 12 years. If the weather favored them, their record would be better in those first 2 months or at the very least equal to. Let me also point out. Fins training bubble at NOVA That S Fla heat really gets to you inside an air conditioned bubble.
Seriously ill take trolls over this douche anyday. He's gotten way worse this year I don't know what happened. Needs to learn to enjoy football and stop being such a whiner.
And it ended on a Revis INT in the endzone by Pennington, so the defense sure didn't whither under the heat
Haha thanks for calling him on his bullshit. He just looks for anything to be negitive about and latched on.
The weather down here is so shitty its not the sun we have to worry about its going to be the sloppy down pour that hasnt stopped for 3 days
The Jets have one thing to do -- put 8 in the box and stop reggie bush. If they can't do that they lose and that has nothing to do with the weather.
"Playing in Miami in September is really tough because of how hot it is. We're definitely going to wear down defensively and probably lose." "Dolphins are 1-7 last 5 years at home in September." "Who cares, we're not going to win the Super Bowl." If you're convinced we're not winning the Super Bowl, and you don't care to get any enjoyment out of any other games, then why even watch, or bother to post about the heat? You already know we're not going to win the Super Bowl.
It rained yesterday, its raining now and suposed to rain the rest of the day along with allll day tommorow. The heat shouldnt be a problem
Thanks I am aware the Fins TC is a Nova as I used to go there every year I lived in FL to buy my NYJ/MD tix For all the rest I will ask U what I have asked others what difference does it make since the Jets have less chance to win the SB this year then Obama does to win Texas?
Your original post stated that the Dolphins enjoyed a huge home field advantage this time of year. That has been demonstrably disproved. Now you're just throwing out a bunch of specious hypotheticals, to try and buttress your original, now empirically dismissed, argument.
Cause I am still a NYJ fan & still root for them. I am just pointing out that IMHO that if Woody did not need the seat & TV money they might as well all go home & forfeit the games. I was just stating that with our aging D Thomas, Scott & even Pione & Co that they will not stand up to the stifling heat & humidity of South Florida. BTW as a MOD you should look up Revis is my Daddy insulting posts to me in this thread instead of berating me for posting MHO
Well before you knee jerk why not check when those games started & what sought of team they were at the time those games were played. Again in the ULTIMATE end what is the difference since for sure, sure they are NOT winning the SB this year
Why is it up to other people to back up your shitty argument? If there's more to it feel free to provide the FACTS. As of now you've done nothing more than throw out a baseless statement that was torn to shreds and then changed your argument to a shitty negative opinion.
Sanchez can take the heat. Remember 2010 game 3? Same scenario, except we are +Revis. I was wondering how long it would take CJ69 to crawl outta the wood works. I'm guessing after the Dolphins win we won't see you for another few weeks.
Iv' lived in West Central Fl. (Tampa/St. Pete area for 35 years, from Long Branch N.J.) September is ALWAYS HOTTER THAN A WHORE IN CHURCH!! However; If the New York Jets lose this must win game, it won't be from the weather.... and if anyone really can back up the tenant that a PROFESSIONAL football team lost a game because (wah, it was too hot) than show me that proof or kick that team out of the league). MY JETS 28 SQUISH THE FISH 17
Weather has a greater impact on exhaustion than many think.. I know for one when I was in Jacksonville..not even South Florida that I had a hard time running in the summer. It helps if you're accustomed to it. That's one reason why it is good to have players that grew up in all different parts of the U.S. and world.
I am sure I don't need to remind you who the Phins Head Coach for an 0-5 record do I? Or that our brilliant owner opted to move games to 4 pm because of the heat but has wised up and moved them back. Additionally, the Jets are not nearly as good as they were two years ago. Plus Keller not playing spells what could be a long afternoon and start of a long season for he Jets.
Or it could lead to the emergence of backups Cumberland and Reuland, who are both young and cheap and could possibly replace Keller after the season if they are impressive. And while the Jets aren't as good as they were two years ago, are the Dolphins? Doubt Miami wins 7 games this year.
