Stop Bush and dare Tannenhill to throw the ball. If Keller's back throw to him, because their safeties suck
Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing something like lining both Reggie and Miller in the backfield and then having Reggie motion out to the slot pre-snap to see if we can take advantage of a mismatch in whatever linebacker picks them up when we run a pass play. Have Reggie run a crossing route and Miller a route in the flat
When you get tote stadium, pick a guy in a Jets jersey, and put him on the field in place of Droptonio, and Sanchez will be forced to throw to guys that can catch.
I don't get it. Bush was never an every down back in NO. He sucked running between the tackles but for some reason he has found his touch in Miami. Maybe its just the extra tackles.
Keys to success A) Three and out by our defense. We can not allow their offense to extend plays over and over like Pittsburgh B) Play aggrresively within the rules, avoid stupid penalties C) Find a running game. We desperately need one. What happened to our screen plays? D) Tone, you bitch because you dont get enough balls, how about you hold on to half the ones you should catch
I think part of it is that Reggie realized you don't get handed anything in this league and recommitted himself to football. From the beat reporters I hear he is always one of the last guys off the field in practice.
The players know they are being recorded, but Reggie Bush seemed a lot different. More of football player if it makes sense while watching Hard Knocks.
Our main weapon is sanchez. U are not going to run the ball against us, so sanchez arm must win. A close once as usual.
This game against Miami is essentially like a bye week for the Jets. Rex should rest his starters, especially Revis. Jets 28 Tebow 7 Miami 10
I have a bad feeling about this game, ala @Raiders 2011. Shitty offensive team with an elusive runningback going off. We are about to enter a game against a team with a bad offense, that has a great runningback. We know Bush is gonna get his yards, it's up to the offense to put up points and take pressure off the defense, we don't want this thing being too close. But I can see this being a close game.
In the last 6 games against the Jets, the Fin's are 4-2. Now your facing a rookie HC and QB. I wish the Jets would rest there starters.
Yeah and he really stepped up to being one of the leaders of the team. He isn't the starstruck guy who was dating Kim K. That's why when he said he wanted to lead the league in rushing I didn't take it as delusional or cocky, I took it as him setting the bar high and really dedicating himself to working hard.
Absolutely, but it's still more about the heat than color of jersey. The Dolphins are used to it, opponents are not. Not long ago, this was a huge advantage for us. Now that it's back (the owner moved all these games to 4 p.m. for three years), it should be again, relative to the talent on the field.
The Fins were a terrible team last season but still manage to knock the Jets around with the playoffs on the line. Learn that anything can happen in the NFL. Remove the emerald glasses.
