Okay, today was bad, we get that. Both sides of the ball played poorly, especially the defense with all the missed tackles.

But let us remember a few things. It is week 2, we are 1-1, the rest of the AFC East is 1-1, and we play a divisional game this week against the Fins.

Win this game and the Jets are 2-1, 2-0 in the division, and sitting nicely atop the AFC East before we come back home three straight weeks before having to travel to face New England. I know the Dolphins beat up on the Raiders today, but that does not impress me. Revis should be back this week and the Jets will take care of business on the road. Split one of the two against SF/Houston, take care of Indy, and we should be in position for complete control of the division on that trip to NE.

We've had worse games than this. All the drops, the miscues, they are all things that can be fixed. I'm confident this team will get it back on track and be either 6-2 or 5-3 going into the bye.

A lot of teams that looked good week 1 flopped week 2. Can't panic, but that was dissapointong as hell.

It's disappointing but I'm not upset, I figured we would lose this game. The Dolphins game is very important that's a game we need to win. It gives us control of the AFC east, and it's an extra win in the bag in the event we lose both games to San Fran and Houston.

I expect us to beat the Dolphins and Texans (both tough games) lose to the 49ers and then beat the Colts. Before traveling to New England. I see the Jets being 4-2 heading into Fox-borough.

I think you need a reality check....

The 2012 New York Jets are not that good.

There are going to be alot of ups and downs this season.

Pittsburgh didn't even have their best defensive players playing today and the Jets offense looked incompetent.

    I don't blame Sanchez.

I think Santonio Holmes is a good receiver, but he's not as good as he think he thinks he is. Until they get someone to complement him, corners are going to be physical with him, and he can't handle that.

Stephen Hill is young. He is NOT Calvin Johnson. Heneeded to be brought along slowly. He's probably a better blocker tha he is a receiver, but this team needs NOW to be a good pass catcher.

The stable of RBs is woeful.

The offensive line is still mediocre.

I was very disappointed in the D-line today. Were there any standouts?

The linebackers are all overpaid. Calvin Pace..worthless.

Honestly I thought the Jets were a six win team in 2012.

    I think I'll be right.

The pessimism is strong with you.
    Chin up man.
Last week you were probably giddy with the ass whoopin of the bills.
The Jets will win more than 6 games this year come on man.

    Sorry to bust your bubble...

The Bills were awful last week...so I didn't fall into that trap.

It makes you wonder how bad Kansas City is...

The Jets are what they are...mediocre.

Can we fire Tanny-bum now and find someone who has a plan.

And you can bet that Revis will hold and force the Jets to overpay him.
He's got the evidence. Exhibit A..today's game.

Ohhhh..I'm not looking forward to the rest of the decade with this team.

I so want to be wrong....but I think I'm right.

I will say it now,,yes we should beat Miami. ,,,,,,,and there will be zero excuses for not beating them,,,,,,,but if we lose next week to a fish team that has a rookie qb and is rebuilding,,,,,,,the wheels will be off the jet wagon and we will free fall,,,,,the fish game is a must win and Sanhez must play well. Go into Miami and get it done

I didn't realize we were expected to go undefeated. I don't get why everyone gets so high after a win and so down after a loss. If we lose this week to a team we should beat then you worry a little bit but we lost to a good team on the road.

Most people expected us to lose in Pittsburgh without our best player. Pitts offense is really good this year.

So put the razors away its a long season. Even if we "overpay" Revis he will still be making less than the 100 million dollar man in Buffalo.

this is the typical type of post to reference, when the jets make the playoffs and you start a thread titled "I told you so"

If the Jets really do have some Tebow razzle-dazzle wildcat plays, yesterday would have been a good time to debut them. I doubt the Jets have any plays worked out for Tebow. The Jets simply laid-down and got their butts kicked by Pittsburgh. We are being BS'ed by Jets' brass again.
