I put it more on the recievers than on Sanchez. Except the would-be Holmes TD. That was all on Sanchez.
football is a game of momentum and mindset. i don't like to see the jets back off at the end of the half. i really would like to see them take it to the opposition. exploit strength. less trickery. i wish they'd sometimes be less... judicious. even if they lose, i hope they do what they do best. (i was very happy to see the jets with some good long tries...they have been good on offense aside from the last weak 'drive').
The Jets can't take advantage of the banged up O-line? This is really pissing me off. Why isn't Rapistburger on his butt every 30 seconds? This is just lazy play right now.
It would be one thing to run out the clock if it looked like a low scoring type of game. However, with the way the defense is playing it looks like the offense is going to have to score on nearly every possession. With Harrison and Palamalu out you have to take advantage of every situation that you are presented. Why that hell call the timeout on defesne if you're not going to try to score at the end of the half. The fact that they scored a TD rather than a FG makes a score when you get the ball back even more important. This kind of shit really bugs me.
Sanchez was booting to his right, and throw slightly to his left. i would like to see him break down and throw that ball, but is a tough throw on the run. the ball was there, just a little bit high. Holmes didn't get a very good launch either. It is just one of those, wish I had it back plays.
yeah you are right shitty coaches make back to back AFCCG in their first two years on a regular basis.
And about 3 of those passing were throws Sanchez should make. Especially the TD to Holmes he missed. Could be 13-9 Jets right now with better execution.
Most coaches never reach an AFCCG in their entire career. Rex did it twice in his first three. Give him time.
