I still do not get how Tebow would be considered a "colossal " disappointment for Denver fans (he ended with a winning starting record , 9-7 and a playoff win as a starter , the first in years, and had a super exciting run).

If Orton stays in last year and Denver goes 4-12 (AGAIN) do you really think Manning goes to Denver?

Saying Tebow was a colossal disappointment shows it is personal with you and not based on football at all.

and spare me "he was a #1 pick" nonsense...answer this before saying that:

If Orton stays in last year and Denver goes 4-12 (AGAIN) do you really think Manning goes to Denver? Tebow helped save the season, he was one of 3 reasons Denver turned it around.

If Cutler had Tebow's accuracy he'd be Ryan Leaf.

Except Cutler passed more as did basically every QB.

    Not to mention Tebow's fumbles.

    No, they don't.

Our defense was hurt early on with Orton, and lost 2 of the first 3 games by 3 points. Were missing Champ, Doom, DJ, Thomas, and Miller hadn't emerged.

Not saying we go 7-4 or whatever it was, but i don't think we would of gone 4-12 if Orton stayed starter. Not if the defense played like that. In before you say the defense played well b/c of Tebow which is a bunch of bullshit.

Tebow was not the only reason the Broncos completely turned around that abysmal record and ended 8-5 with a GREAT playoff win , obviously special teams and defense were a huge part.

BUT without Tebow the Broncos do not go 8-5 and into the playoffs , as Tebow is one of the 3 pieces that were neccessary to get that accomplished (Quinn and Orton would not have had that success running the same offense) defense and special teams being the other two . This can not be argued and is fact.

Therefore Tebow deserves as much credit for the turn around as the defense and the kicking game and if not as much quite a bit (he was one of the 3 pieces) .

I love your "hadn't emerge argument"

when Champ and Doom BOTH SAID Tebow was one of the main reasons the defense started playing better as he helped the team gel.

Argue it with Champ and Doom not me. You are grasping at straws man, its sad really, all you have to say is "Tebow helped energize us" and you can let go of all the hate ...and move on

They ended on a loss. Only on team can end the NFL season on a playoff win.

They had not won a playoff game in years, from 7-24 (worst record in the entire nfl during that 2 year span) to a playoff win was really unexpected and great.

You cant prove that is the case. It hurts your argument to talk in absolutes when you can or will never know what would have happened. The broncos could have won more, the same or less. But orton didn't play so we will never know.

    Did Miller emerge with Orton?

    No, he did not.

And you don't know what happens with Orton, i don't, we'll never know.

I never said Tebow didn't help, but he wasn't THE reason like you Tebow fans claim it was.
