Manning killed them with the no huddle. I know that Manning and his game but it did stop Pitt from bring in blitz package and subs. What you guys think?
Going no huddle on the road is tough. To start the game and the 2nd half is a little easier as fans still haven't filled the seats. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it though.
We should definitely blitz a shitload tomorrow...don't give Rothlisshitter time to find Wallace being covered by McKnight...haha. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...b-joe-mcknight-could-see-time-at-db-this-week
If mark gets into a rhythm I could see them trying to use it. But to start the game and put the pressure on a short handed defense idk if its the best idea
How does that put pressure on the defense any more than going three and out would and almost everybody has an advantage going hurry up.
I don't know about the no huddle. I'm not sure a combination of our system and being on the road in a very hostile stadium is very accommodating to the no huddle. Also, I would imagine Dick LeBeau and the steelers coaching staff have probably recognized the no-huddle as a weakness to their defense and are already starting to implement some sort of counter-measure to it. I think Peyton caught the Steeler's D by surprise, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers already found a way to adapt. Edit: With that being said, obviously the offense should give it a try and see how we fair. It would be cool to see a no huddle with Sanchez and Tebow on the offense. Maybe do a ratio of 3:1 Sanchez QB:Tim QB. Keep Timmy on as half-back or TE when he's not getting the snaps and line Sanchez up wide when it's Timmy's turn.
If the no huddle from Peyton caught them from surprise them LeBeau needs to retire now. Petyon only ran that most of his career,so why would it surpirse them? I think if the Jets did it it would surprise them.
I could go either way. I guess they could try it and if it's not as successful as they hoped then stop.
I believe the complete opposite. He's always done well in the no-huddle offense (other than that one Pats game). He has a ton of game-winning drives and they are mostly done out of no-huddle.
I agree trying to no huddle is dangerous, especially with Keller out, an o-line we aren't set on for sure and in a loud stadium and a rookie in hill - a lot can go wrong. We need to chew up the clock and keep the ball out of Ben's hands as much as possible. Stick to our game plan, ground and pound and once in a while hit a big play.
