19-17 Jets. A comfortable 17 points for Steelers because Revis is out.

I was going to guess 24-17 but that's close enough. Mainly for our lack of a running attack.

    Jets- 15
    Steelers- 20

Jets will keep it close but their red zone offense will fail them, resulting in 3 FGs by Folk. Jets will get a late TD(missed 2 pt convo to get it to 3 pts) but I don't think the Jets will ever be in the lead in this game and that the score might be closer than what the actual game was in the end.

Then again I did say 17-13(I think that was it) Bills in week 1 so once again I hope I am wrong.

Pitt has no offensive line...andharrison and Polamalu are banged up.

Why would we run the ball...Sparano gets the modern NFL.

Yes, against an inferior Buffalo defense run by an inferior defensive coordinator. Maybe the Jets pull a fast one and get a quick lead, but if it's a close game, we're going to need to run the ball. And so far, I'm not convinced we can do that against real defenses run by real defensive coordinators.

    Jets - 24
    Steelers - 17

I'm hoping our Dline against their Oline will make up for Revis being out, not to mention Mendenhall, Harrison, and Polamalu all are at risk of not playing. Cumberland will also have to step up but he looked decent last week. If our WRs play like they did last week I think we can take advantage of their secondary.

I think it's going to be a close one, within a TD, and I could see it going either way but I'm gonna go with the Jets on this one. It's gonna be tough, but hopefully the Jets are still playing with a chip on their shoulder because of people still doubting them and they'll get it done this week.

Mind you, though, Pornstache and Gailey were nearly obsessed with Jets ground game that week. (which is understandable.) If Steelers do the same stuff (which I doubt, by the way) then the passing game will be that much easier. I doubt either thing will happen again this week.

An inferior Buffalo defense? Prior to Week 1 everyone said Buffalo had one of the best defensive front fours in the business. Mark Anderson had 10 sacks last year, Mario Williams was a big addition for them, Marcell Dareus had 5 1/2 sacks as a rookie last year, and Kyle Williams is a solid 7 year vet. I don't see how you can say Buffalo has a bad defense, they basically don't, it's just that the Jets O-line pretty much neutralized them, which is why I don't think Pittsburgh will have any better luck this week either.

Why does it always seem like the Jets play Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh? Also the same thing with Oakland. It seems like those teams never play the Jets in the Meadowlands.

Both teams have a lot of injuries coming in. I have a feeling it'll be a close game, and Pittsburgh may just edge it out.

We just need to win this game. Hate pitt and it its time we pay them back. Revis or no Revis, get the job done. 2 - 0

I don't want to be right but I think this will be Steelers 16-13. Here's to some crow (or Cro) Monday morning ...

Here we go with the 'everyone' bit again. The Steelers aren't Buffalo and you need to prepare yourself for that fact. They aren't just going to run a bland four man rush at us all day like Wannstedt did.

Biggest difference between the Steelers and Buffalo will be the coaching. LeBeau is widely considered the best defensive coach in football even if he is a little old for the job. Mike Tomlin is a fantastic head coach. Bills can't adjust to anything and had an awful gameplan on D. They were all set to stop the run their D line played like pansies.

Steelers will come out with a much better game plan and its always hard to win on the road in the NFL no matter who you play.

with revis out it doesnt look too good, gotta hope we get pressure on Ben. If we do we'll be ok, but for the sake or teams playing average Steelers win 19-16

If I wasn't a Jets fan, I wouldn't hesitate to pick Pitt at home in a heartbeat. Can't see them going 0-2. The Jets have won only 1 game in the state of PA ever if I'm not mistaken.

I'd love the upset, but I think it will be Pitt 27-Jets 17.

Since we didn't beat a single team that finished with a winning record last year, I really hope the Jets beat either Pitt/San Fran or Houston in the next few weeks (I'm assuming they all finish with winning records). It will be hard to take them seriously if they go 0-3 against those teams, especially with 2 at home. I actually think this game will be their best chance. Hopefully I'm wrong and they pull it out.

We will find out Revis' value in this game. I expected Steelers game to be a toss up prior to Revis injury. I said Steelers were overrated and still feel that way. Jets have a few injuries that will limit us. I just don't have a great feeling about the game. I think it'll be close, but Jets lose by a FG.
