neither do I. and there's no doubt that he wants to play, that's a given, he'd go out there missing an arm if he were allowed. still an opportunity for the jets to show what they are made of here.

The Steelers aren't the same without Troy. Putting pressure on Ben isn't enough. He will just run around and find someone, we need someone to put him on his ass, wish it could be Landry but the safeties may be providing extra help without the Island

He will show up and do the damn thing. Tell your brother were rooting for him and have faith in him.

Wow didn't think so many people would be this dumb about trying to rush Revis back. If the doctors didn't clear him clarly he's not ready.

His long term health is what's best for the team and its more important than football.

Time for Kyle Wilson to shine.

I'd love to see Rex cook up something special on D to cover for Revis not playing.

Can't let Ben keep plays alive. Secure the tackle and bring him down on first contact. Demolish these no name running backs, WHO!?!?!

Well the safeties will be helping in coverage alot more. Maybe take a page from the steelers and more zone blitzing?

Either way it definitely makes this a tall order but if the jets are gonna be the real deal on defense they need to show up big with or without revis

That's the biggest key, can not allow Big Ben to extend plays like he did in the AFC Title Game. That was the biggest reason we lost. Had we done a better job of containing him we would have won that game.

I just think the Steelers are significantly weakened by the loss of players and their weak offensive line. I just get the feeling that not only are the Jets going to win they are going to tee off on this team just like they did last week to the Bills. The Steelers aren't all that right now, they could be all that if they had everyone healthy and had a decent O-line, but they don't, and that is going to be just enough cause to get their asses handed to them next sunday.

That he will. K-Dub is a hell of a lot better than most of the TGG'ers give him credit for. On Sunday he is going to go out and prove it.

Let me just say it first, I think there is a very good chance the Jets will dominate this team on sunday. They have significant flaws and weaknesses, and even though the Jets won't have Revis they still are going to put BR on his butt quite often and the Jets offense is going to tee off on the Steelers weakened D.

The Steelers are not a top team right now. They are very 7-9 to 8-8 at this point. Chances are, they are gonna get destroyed.

We have to take the wind out of their sales early. Prevent the crowd from keeping them in the game. This is their home opener and that stadium will be calling for Jets blood.

Make some early stops, create turnovers and put some points on the board. Once we draw blood we have to keep coming with no regard...if what you say is true the fans will get ugly quick.

September Boo birds are a seldom occurrence in Pittsburgh.

That would be music to my ears.

I agree with you 100% ... I'm glad he's not playing this soon. Been sayng it all along ... give him another week to get healed.

We have no excuses ... Polamalu and Harrison are both out. That's as big of a blow to them, as Revis is to us. People on both sides of the ball are going to have to stepthefuckup! If we don't kill ourselves with stupid mistakes we should be able to hang with anybody. I still give us a decent chance to go in there and pull out a close game.

    Revis + Keller = Harrison + Polamalu

    4 big-time players!

Thomas is a loss, but Pittsburgh has other injuries as well.

Coples has to show up now, Jets NEED to take advantage of the Steeler's banged up O-Line.

There's a whole revenge factor with the Steelers that these Jets really don't have for any other team in the NFL. This stupid team kept us from the Superbowl two years ago BY FIVE LOUSY POINTS! We might have another Superbowl ring right now, or at least would have played in another Superbowl if not for THIS STUPID TEAM!

I really would like to see the Jets walk in there and really lay the wood to these guys for messing us up two years ago, and I think they will.
