I really like our odds going into this game, I predicted the Steelers missing the playoffs this year, I really think age and health is catching up to them. Its still very early into this season so I dont know what to expect. Are the Jets for real? are the Steelers finally settling down? is Tebow going to roast their secondary? I really dont know how much Tebow will affect this game, is he going to pass?

I see the Jets finally "unleashing" the wildcat this week, I didnt think we would see much against the Bills and I was right about that. If you remember, Sparano didnt unleash the Wildcat in 2008 until week 3 against the Patriots. I believe they specifically saved it for that game because it was the Patriots and they wanted that win.

This game seems like a tossup to me, the Steelers are very desperate and cannot fall to 0-2. If they fall to 0-2 we could be finally looking at the end of the Steelers, because they still have the NFC East to play, the Bengals twice, the Ravens twice, just very brutal. Under Rex we are 1-1 (a 5 point win and a 5 point loss)

Im going with 21-17 Jets, but to me this will be a great game and a great matchup. If Revis dont play then the Steelers will likely win....

Jets win in a close 1,

    20-14

Bart Scott kicking Revis doesn't help, and Keller's hammy neither.

    Steelers older
    Harrison out
Wallace barely had training camp, his rust showed
That O-line for the Steelers isn't that good
They have bruising RB's not one that will bounce out like Mendenhall.

    I'll take our chances

If Revis plays I think we will completely blanket Steelers passing attack. I think Ben will get knocked out of the game. I think our defense will make a lot of plays in Steelers backfield.

    Jets 23
    Steelers 13

Coples, Mo, and Maybin combine for 4 sacks, Sanchez throws for 2 TDs, 2 INTs, Jets get a TD off a turnover, Ben gets sacked 6 times, throws 3 picks.

Jets win by FG if Revis is playing.
Steelers win by about a TD if Revis is out.

originally you said steelers by 14... then steelers by 20 if revis wasn't playing. now it's steelers by 13 with revis.

Steelers are going to get rolled. JETS defense is going to have a field day. I'll be starting them once again for fantasy.

    sorry Cheeky. :steelers:

So you think the Jets go from putting up 43 points to just 3 against a team with their best 3 defensive guys out or limited?

I had this one penciled in as a loss before the season started but I like our chances. Jets 24 Steelers 16.

    Steelers 24, Jets 17.

I think the Pittsburgh pass rush will give the Jets way more trouble than Buffalo's did. If this game were at home, I'd be calling a Jets win.

I dunno I don't think Pitt's pass rush will get much. Other then Woodley they don't have to much pass rushing right now. Harrison being out hurts that a lot. Their front 7 didn't look like the usual physical Steelers D. They can't do worse than what Buffalo did but I don't think they are going to really be all that better.

Revis is out now, so my 23-3 prediction stands. 23-3 is a 20-point loss. Try to keep up

Also, predicting the Jets to win every game on their schedule does not make you cool or smart. It makes you simple.

I felt much the same. I'm going to say something similar to your predication and go with Jets 24 - Steelers 20. I don't think we'll be able to limit them to one TD, especially if Revis is out, so I'll go with two TDs and two FGs.

With Revis out I gotta think the Steelers take this game. They are more desperate and its in Pittsburgh.

Kyle Wilson and the D line are going to need to play lights out. We need to take advantage of their offensive line woes and get a lot of pressure on rapistberger. It's gonna be close. I think we mite be able to win with a 24-21 score.
