At this point I think that the Steelers have the clear advantage. Informed Jets fans, is there a way the Jets beat the Steelers given all the challenges they have right now? Something other than "Steelers suck we own them". Because every year is a new year.

I think that the RT issue is going to mean a feast for Woodley coming off the same side. This will force you to double or play max protection and we got some guys that can get after the ball in the secondary. Seems you have to ground and pound but your offense has shown no signs of life really. If the prayer is Tebow/Wildcat, I like the Steelers chances, alot.

Seems to me if the Steelers score 17, it will be hard for the Jets to win. I mean I guess you could hope Big Ben plays poorly and your two CB studs make a ton of plays and score...

-pass to open up run - and make sure to get QB protection.
-no-huddle - it messed up the steelers D last week.

-jam wrs at line to interfere with chemistry
-get to rothlisberger with 4 man rush and occasional secondary blitz
    -revis plays

how would a no huddle work? IF the Jets are going to continue with the Tebow experiment, it wont work due to the ins and outs of the QBs which seems to take forever.

Lamar Woodley already decided they win this game he said so in an interview. We're fucked.

Agreed with everything here. I really like the idea of running some type of hurry up offense. To be honest, on offense, that is the key. Keep them off balance.

Jamming the WR's will also be a factor. This would be the time to play a good dose of jam at the line and then back into a Zone coverage. A few times across the middle with our Safeties knocking them out and you'll see a good dose of "alligator arms".

Lol no one else got your reference. I forgot about this. Bills over Jets has made a huge ass out of himself for the last few months.

Hurry up offense to open the game! Thats the way to get an aging defense on its heels.

It's going to be a tough game although if we play with the precision of the first half of the Bills game we can be competitive. I suspect there's more to the Jesuscat we haven't seen yet so that might be an unknown advantage. I don't know what the silver bullet is but I think the Jets can afford to lose this game and still make the playoffs.

It wasn't even that Bills fan. It was Foreboding I believe or the even newer one that starts with "s" haha.

Should be a close game. Tackling. That's the key. Can't let these receivers to make a guy miss as they can both take off. And of course Big Ben. You cover everyone, he'll draw you in by scrambling then run parallel to the line of scrimmage and find someone open. He can throw everywhere on the field from anywhere.

I think I mentioned this in numerous threads, but Heath Miller. He is Big Ben's first read, safety valve, 1st down machine.

The Jets can beat the Steelers week 2 by finishing the game with more points than the Steelers, its really pretty simple

Hurry up Offense to tire an aging Defense (7 starters over 32 yrs old). When Palumala creeps up into the box, hit Hill deep. Make them fuckers pay.

    Jets 24
    Pitt 20

...so simple even a cave man can do it.

Play Rex Ryan type defense and score some damn points.

    Recipe for success.
