I was lucky I could make it to the game. Wasn't ending my streak. The tailgate was spent sitting in a chair. I haven't sat in a tailgate chair since...well I'm not sure if I ever have.

In Lot 26A , by the IZOD ; as soon as we started the grill after the game, a state trooper , who was parked outside our lot, yelled in to ' WRAP IT UP ' . Everyone laughed and kept tailgating . 10 minutes later , the trooper left . Just what we need . Assholes busting our chops for BBQing .

How can you afford all those stadium beers?

You approached $75 if you were drinking the good stuff. I found a Goose Island Honkers Ale tap behind 341, but they're $12 each.

I never drink inside. I drink plenty in the parking lot and I'm usually the one driving home so I give myself 3 hours inside to sober up. Last game I didn't drink much at all since I was on crutches and have a hard enough time using them sober.

I did use those 50% off coupons though on water and Rita's ices. They came in handy.

You should try the same thing against the 49ers and if they win keep doing it weekly.

$26 ought to buy a case of that stuff.

What stand are you purchasing from, (if you can remember hiccup...) and what else did they offer? They move it around and change from year to year. In 2010 I could get Murphy's Stout and Brooklyn lager, then last year they took them out, but as I mentioned, I can now get Goose Island near my section which is great.

My theory is, if I'm going to get ripped off, I may as well drink something I can't usually find in any bar.

Did you take the stairs out right behind your section? Bathroom and beer, right there also. Nice huh?

    Monday Blues

This feeling I have after a Jet loss never changes, I wake up Monday and feel like crap, feel like I just wasted a beautiful Sunday inside watching a team that never delivers. I know its only week # 2, and I know it was a tough matchup, but after our 1st drive, I got all excited thinking this team was going to be different. I can tell you in the last 3 years one other thing goes through my mind while I brush my teeth, "CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT IT MUST FEEL LIKE OWNING A PSL". At least I have get out of jail card. Glad the Dolphins are up next, gives us a chance to be 2-1 or with a loss end the season real quick. I think will bounce back, I would hope so anyway or else its suicidal time. This is the only place I feel like posting today, can't deal with all the other people on this board.

Let's be honest people like you, me and a few others we're never leaving. We say the same thing every year, hell I didn't even pay the bill this year yet they called me with seats I couldn't turn down and my dad and sis were very disappointed when I gave them up. I was in a tailgate competition and during the interview part I said I'll be doing this until I'm 90 years old and I probably will. Too many memories (good and bad), friendships made, etc etc. I'm 32 and I've been doing this since I was 11. Me not going to a Jets game on a Sunday is like the Pope skipping church on a Sunday.

As a PSL holder the thought goes through my mind after almost every disgusting Jets loss as to why I made this commitment, but I did it because I know I'll eventually get over the losses and the heart ache and each September I'll be there with a new spirit of hope, tailgating with good friends and ready to hope that the Jets finally, one day, give us what we've all been longing for.

PSL or no PSL I don't see what the difference is, game to game results-wise.

I'm upstairs without a PSL but I'd feel the same way after a loss, home or away. Even without the PSL it's still been a financial commitment every year.

If I were a PSL owner it would only effect me if they were gutting the team, or giving up in a Wilpon-like-Mets scenario. Otherwise it shouldn't matter.

I been reading this thread for awhile and I just joined so now I can comment.
I bought the $50 cheapo seats x6. I have a small business I plan to use them occasionally and give them away to clients. I got free parking and didnt have to take any preseason tix.

Well now, that just makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Let's all take a relaxing bubble bath over your free parking and preseason tix exclusion.

But don't worry, you'll pay the price too. You come on here to gloat over your "wise purchase," but just wait until we're 3-6 and headed for nowhere and then let's hear how you got over everyone on the board. Not happening.

You bought into the Rex Ryan Abyss just like everyone else. Welcome Aboard.

Not my intent to piss anyone off. I considered it a business entertainment write off. If things dont work I have no contract to return next season. Im still a fan with or without season tickets. Chill out man.

Congrats on the seats. I'm not sure if giving your clients $50 tickets to the Jets could be considered a slap across the face.

We all could have gotten $50 tixx but too high up. If it makes you happy though then good for you. It is still way better than sitting home on a 37 inch flat screen tv on your deck and posting how you saved all this money.
