Hard hits are part of the game. If you want a "clean" game play touch football with 80 year olds. Lam
Yea - after rewatching a couple of times now I see he just hit the thigh. In full speed I thought he went at the knee. The cheering part afterwards still seems unnecessary.
Well he gets low and makes a tackle. You gotta get low when you tackle. I don't like the taunting though. I hate taunting it just annoys me, no matter what it is.
I think he's nasty. Truly nasty and frankly I'm not a huge fan of that. More importantly, I don't want to depend on that type of person. Butttttttt... he's nasty.
Landry does have a little (dare I say it?) Rodney Harrison in him. Top player, but also isn't afraid to, um incur fines to put it in a PC way. Most defenses kind of need that intimidation factor though.
hitting a runner in the legs isn't "dirty" at all. its called tackle football. players get hit. players sometimes get injured. its an occupationl hazard and its also why football is the most popular sport in the country. the fact that he celebrated a good hit doesn't make it dirty it's simply a part of the game - everybody is trying to make plays and when you make a good play you enjoy it. its not flag football ladies.
I voted no, he's just a hard hitter. This team needs someone like him on the team. He fits the rex style of defense which is hard hitting. After all this is football. Instill fear in your opponent and if it means laying the wood on them legally then so be it.
it's about time that we had a safety back there that people are afraid of. the cornerbacks cover wrs but we always got torched by tes and rbs over the middle. we need to find another landry in next year's draft!
thank God we have a safety who is respected and feared by ball carriers. dirty? puleaze, its called tackle football. hoping he cranks it up against rapelisberger.
