Thats exactly how I feel and the law for that matter. No one should be laying their hands on anyone but if someone tries to harm you in anyway physically than I support you 100% defending yourself within reason.
why is acceptable to hit a man behaving in some manner but not okay to hit a woman behaving in an identical manner? if the behavior is so awful that it warrants a physical fight, than the sex of the opponent is irrelevant because the behavior is the issue the fight is meant to resolve.
because when two men fight, its what men do. its a level playing field. i would probably never try and fight a chick over something i might fight a dude over
it is what men do isn't a reasonable position. not all men fight so it isn't just what men do, it is what some men do. there is nothing absolute about that.
Some men are much better equipped for a fight too. You see a 100lb girl attacking a 6'5 250 lb guy you might want to see him use a minimal amount of force. Im 5'11 weigh 160. If you are more my size and need to defend yourself from a 140lb girl you shouldn't have to just let her beat on you.

Thats the point. Its never acceptable to hit anyone of any gender ever unless it is in self defense. If we lived in a perfect world it wouldn't come to that but unfortunately for everyone we don't.
The whole "You should never hit a girl" saying is sexist in nature. It infers that a woman is more valuable than a man, and encourages female assault on a man. It's also a rallying call for some of the most pathetic losers in the world: someone that will gang up and beat a guy to a pulp with 5 of his friends. Ex: guy and girl get into an argument. Girl slaps guy. Guy slaps back. 5 guys watching the altercation proceed to hold the guy down and beat him till he's unconcious. Yup, that's really justified. I'm in no way condoning violence against women. I'm just saying that if someone assaults you, you should be able to protect yourself. The saying should be, "It's never ok to hit anyone".

Bro I am not selling anything but a few of your number could be off. There are $50 tix they are the upper part of the top deck but are only $50, parking for the JETS is $50 if you pay at the booth, I do not know if it available during the season or only pre-season, I believe passes only are accepted at the booths. The small soda is $6 the large $7..50 . . . I agree it is overboard but if other DID NOT buy the tix the prices would be more affordable. I am guilty of way over paying but thats my choice. I hope you can get to a game or two at MET LIFE there really isn't anything like being there.
I love how this thread turned into whether it's OK to hit a women a not. Edit: Special kudos to the awesome examples like - "What if a woman is holding a nuclear bomb, with a gun at the head to your child, and is calling your mom a whore...is okay if I punch her then?!11?!!?1one?" There were two fights in my section (no Bills fans involved in either) however, both of them involved girls. I think some girls at football games get way too ballsy and think no matter what they say they can't get hit, but they do and shit hits the fan. The second incident by me involved an old man pushing a real mouthy broad and then the old man gets punched in the face, blood in his mouth and everything. I hate to say it but the second issue involved a Tebow debate. However we all know the real issue is...... ALCOHOL!
I just got back from Oakland, where I stayed at the Raiders hotel. There was a bunch of female Raider fans partying there. I was walking around in my Jets t-shirt and a few of them got lippy with me. I just laughed.
