This isn't good news. Revis is the heart and soul of the Defense. Offense better step it up next week to make up for Revis' possible absence.

Corners is our number 1 strength. Our whole D is schemed around our corners. Without Revis Island we are left with Alcrotraz and the volley ball from Cast Away. KW looked real good yesterday though and I think he's up to the challenge. If Revis isn't ready we shouldn't rush him.

We should sit him anyway just to be sure, he is our teams future. And we don't really need him to Contain the Steelers. I have a feeling this next game is going to be Coples coming out party.

It looked so innocuous. I can't believe he'd miss after that.

He is listed as Probable to play next week.

I'm pretty sure the team doctors would know what was best for him. Enough of the sit him bullshit. If he's ready to go, let him go out there. We need him against Pitt

First off there is no injury report out tii later this week so he is not listed as "probable" or anything else.

Secondly, the wost thing you can do with a concussion is rush an athlete back too soon. My son's teammate sustained a concussion last December playing Hockey. He rushed back, played a few games, suffered symtoms and 9 months later hasn't yet been able to exercise without experiencing post- concussion symptoms.

There is no such thing as a "mild concussion"....

My point being is that even though one is not "knocked out", they can still have severe after effects from a concussion. No brain injury should ever be considered "mild" and how the injury treated in the days immediately following the injury is key.

The doctor's recommendation is key. If he clears Revis to play, then sitting him out of paranoia is stupid. Of course you take it seriously, but you don't sit him "just in case", you listen to the doctor. Concussions are usually harmless unless you re-injure it too early. That's why they are so strict with not playing concussed players. It's not the initial concussion that will fuck you up, it's the second one.
