Had a great game, nearly all of his kickoffs were of the touchback variety, also solid on field goals. A++++++++++ game

P.S. Robert Malone our newly acquired punter from San Diego had a couple of nice kicks as well.

The Bills have an extra kicker on their roster just to do what Folk did all day yesterday. Way to waste a roster spot.

But seriously, Folk's leg on the kickoffs have to be 10- 15 yards stronger this year.

they technically make up that roster spot with Brad Smith on the roster, so it all evens out.

How? They still have 3 QB's on the roster, not counting Brad Smith.

He does a lot of things. WR, Wildcat, KO, Special teamer all around. Still its ridiculous to have 2 kickers 1 just to do kick offs. Definite waste of a roster spot.

Folk did very well for himself. If the new punter can average 51yds per kick we will be good on the kicking game.

The kicking game was very good yesterday. The Jets played well in every phase of the game yesterday it was great to see.

I'd think the warm weather had to help Folk out a bit. Here's to me being completely wrong

Nick Folk has proved himself over and over again, I dont know why he keeps getting in these kickoffs with other kickers in preseason

Was shocked how well Folk kicked Sunday. Underrated how important it is to kick the ball in the back of the end zone and negate any chance of a return. Maybe he figured something out in the offseason because he looked like a different kicker.

Because he didn't. I heard Tebow took Folk to the weight room with him too.

I'll wait till the temps start to drop, and that ball starts to get a little bit harder, but I noticed the same thing yesterday from both kickers. If he was able to add some power and able to get us some more TouchBacks plus if Kerley/McKnight can keep up the return game we have solid advantage in the field position battle over almost any other team.

Folk's a good kicker who has been unwarrantedly (I know, not a word, but I'm tired) hated amongst Jets fans. He's never missed a big kick or GW kick for this team. Too much is made of the one or two games a year where he struggles, often in games where we're getting the snot kicked out of us to begin with. We could do far worse. Happy for him.
