I'm disappointed with how he acted towards the media. He should whip his dick out and piss on them next time
Holmes will be quiet as long as we keep winning though. Holmes has helped this WR core and it showed yesterday
I said the same thing after he had a 1st down catch yesterday. I always thought it was such a douche move, but still hilarious at the same time.
i couldnt agree any more with you guys...all the media does is stir stuff up...i thought holmes looked like a leader out there, caught his balls, made a sick catch even tho it didnt stand, didnt show any sign of discontent not being in the spotlight and showed hill and kerley lots of love. The best thing i saw him do was argue with the ref over the kerley 1st down that ended up being short...i thought that showed great leadership in this recieving core.
He was a distraction last year? What because he said a couple things to the news that were blown out of proportion and got into an argument in huddle of ONE game. Holmes was fine, he was just annoyed the way he was being utilized and it exploded at the end of the year with us under performing. You can't blame him for being upset after losing games we should have won. And again with that nonsense word "apologist". First it was all the Sanchez apologists saying he was capable, and now anyone who doesn't bash Holmes after a big win that he contributed to, is automatically an apologist homer. Too Funny. Shouldn't we be happy after a win, instead of looking to bash our team??? Holmes was good yesterday, he missed that one TD by like a split second. Give him a break! What the dude says to the media DOES NOT CHANGE how we play and execute on the field. I can't believe people still perpetuate that silly stereotype. Holmes can say whatever he wants. He helps us win. Its just hilarious how people don't realize that talk means nothing in football. Nobody cares what Holmes says except the drama queens and hack journalists that try to spin it.
I saw the interview this morning and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. He was fine and was answering questions with complete answers and a good attitude until he received 2-3 questions in a row about whether there was a QB controversy on the team and whether the team had 1 or 2 QBs and he then appropriately stated no comment and ended the interview. He didn't take the bait and now his translates into a bad attitude??? Sorry. The criticisms here are way over the top. Only the media cares about the media is treated.
As long as we are winning I don't think he'll care. He dealt with Hines Ward being a big star and he can deal with Hill being a big star. In order for the team to win though Holmes will have to be very good though as well so I think they go hand and hand. Hill cannot succeed without Holmes doing his job.
Bingo. Holmes and Hill will both open up opportunities for the other. Sanchez will be like a kid in a candy store this year.
