a lot of guys are blaming the line but Greene has no moves, cant get to the 2nd level he's a power back and nothing more

we need a running back bad who can run, catch and pass protect

    any names to look at

Greene's fumbling is a big problem. I know he didn't lose any today, but 2 fumbles is unacceptable.

Huge problem. You can't be ground and pound with our backs

Yea . What . The . Fuck. Greene was never a fumbler but 2 in the opener is fucking crazy. I'd expect that from a small faster back but if Greene wants to continue making a living off being a bruiser RB you can't cough it up like that.

I think we're trying to save some cap space to roll over into next season since we have a bunch of contracts ending this off season.

    who should we look at

Mark Ingram isn't being utilized well in New Orleans as they air it out and mainly use Sproles

Ben Tate is a primary back up

Knowshon Moreno would be lovely he can do it all and they drafted Ronnie Hillman

    somebody lol

The ground game complimented the pass O perfectly today. I like Greene, he wears down Ds.

I've given him the benefit of the doubt for a long time, this Shonn Greene dude. But today, I think I finally realized that this guy is just not that good. He might be the slowest back I've seen in terms of hitting the hole. My god.

We neeeeeed to get Bilal Powell the ball more. I predicted before the year that Powell would be starting by Week 4 and would lead the team in rushing. I still hope this happens - I also really like Greene more as the 2nd half closer type anyway. It's only been glimpses, but I really like what I've seen from Powell - this is not just typical fanspeak, ra ra get the backup in. I think Powell can be productive - and the line actually looked decent to me today..Greene just does NOTHING with his opportunities - he's basically riding along in a starting role based off of a couple good playoff games - what has the guy ever done since?

Please none of Moreno, they would gladly give him up, he's trash.

    Ben Tate I like...

Chris Ivory is a decent one, Ingram is alright...

blah blah blah. All I heard all off season was "wahhh! Greene goes down on first contact!!! We need to draft Richardson!! Bring in Benson! He's GREAT!!!" There were multiple plays were Greene dug it out and extended the play.

you know how many holes Greene missed because he's too slow, he gets hit and falls never keeps his feet moving, cant catch, etc........ not a great lead back and that is something we lack 3.5 ypc is shit, steaming shit

get us a god damn RB to add another dimension to our offense

John Connor is not consistent enough at blocking for the Jets to be a ground and pound offense.
