I saw his post game intyerview and this guy has totally shut it down with the media. If I were the Jets I would keep him away form them. I've seen this type attitude before and its just not good. Flippant answers, smart alec remarks and that distant look on his face while doing it. Very talented guy but his attitude is counter productive.

Really I like him pissed off at the media. He should be.

This isn't a problem. He hasn't liked the media and it started since Week 17 of last season. He has been flippant to the media since them and called them out. Mutual dislike

I thought it was a great thing. You can tell he doesn't want to talk to them. You know he hates the media after all the garbage he has heard. He deserved to be talked about that way but I hope he has a chip on his shoulder all season. Santonio needs the motivation.

Its like Bart Scott who's boycotting the media. I think the whole Jets team even Rex is pissed off at them.

I agree, based on his attitude and body language, it didn't seem like he was on the winning team. I wish he were Sherlock Holmes; then maybe he'd get a clue.

I thought he did great that one female reporter kept trying to goat him about the qb situation. He said they played well, she tried again and was like next question. Lol

The man makes many millions of dollars to play this game. He should be professional and act like that means something to him. I was happy with the effort on the field but it would have been nice to see similar effort in the locker room afterwards.

The quickest way to put the cancer to rest is to act in a way that nobody could ever suggest that it's there.

Is it just me or did he spot doing the first down celebration thing (drop ball and point) for this game ? Everyone talks about how stupid it is but I felt like it just wasn't right to see him not do it.

He isn't going to quit on a winning team. As long as the Jets are doing well he's not going to be a problem.

Personally I thought he was the weakest WR on the field for us this game. He's probably grumpy he didn't get more TDs.

After getting trashed for 8 months by dickhead writers I have no problem with him treating them like shit.

In all honesty, I can't fault Holmes, or any Jets player for that matter, for harboring feelings of bitterness towards the media. The media's irrefutably sensationalist, overtly dishonest, and overwhelmingly unfair portrayal of the Jets and the many individuals who comprise their organization has been nothing short of disgraceful, in my opinion.

The collective American sports media can suck my dick.

He's either pissed at the media or pissed about getting (only, in Tone's mind) 8 targets. Let's hope it's the former.

Thursday afternoon he gave the media a lengthy, polite, thoughtful, press conference, only to have one quote once again become distorted back page material that got ragged on for two days. I'd be pissed at them too.

The on the field Holmes had a subtle but very good game. Broke some big YAC that turned drives from moving steadily along to jump starting the team down the field. I think we're going to see a big year from Holmes. Holmes works best with a big guy who can get down the field opposite him, opening up room for Holmes to run underneath. Even if Hill doesn't repeat today's performance again this season, the D will have to stretch the coverage for him, and that means plenty of yards for Holmes.

If I cared about Holmes' media attitude, then.. well.. I'd care. Keep catchin balls, holmes. 1 cm away from that other TD. Holmes is fine. our receiving core is good. The Jets SHOULD have a bad attitude with the media. They are lying scumbags.

    Two things:

    1. He's not Tebow. He doesn't have people skill and he sometimes has no idea what the fuck he is talking about it it's consequences. See his remarks about Sanchez beng rattled.

    2. I'm pissed off at the media. Glad he is too. Every Jet fan is pissed off. In fact, this feels better. Being the underdogs of the NFL and being called out by almost every analyst. Next thing u know, we whooped the Jills ass, a team every analyst ranked above us for God knows what fucking reason.

He's a prima donna and a punk-ass who thinks everybody should kiss his ass even when he's a schmuck.

As long as he can play, the Jets will tolerate him.

If he does like last year, he'll be off the team for 2013.
