Some really solid hits for sure. Bell was good as well, to be fair. Hopefully they can both stay healthy.

I am WELL old enough to remember jack tatum, but if memory serves me correctly he was a MUCH dirtier player, hard hard hitter but dirtier correct?

Opposing wideouts must say like...WTF...either I get picked off by Revis/Cromartie of fucking drilled by Landry. Gotta admit the jets secondary is a starting to look like a "no mans land" for opposing teams!! Love it And if the DL keep up the decent run stop, teams are going to find it tough to put points up*

*when it matters, today we had such a lead I honestly think the D laid back a bit in the second half

By today's standards, you would be correct although George Atkinson might be the other bookend you're thinking of. Jack Tatum just hit very, VERY HARD but George Atkinson got the nickname "Dirty George". He was responsible for the Daryl Stingley hit, not that the hit was intentional. Just an unfortunate incident that must have brought back memories to the modern NFL when helmet to helmet hits were finally outlawed.

I liked how Jets safeties were laying lumbers into the receivers. Yeremiah Bell popped one and caused incomplete. Landry was beasting throughout the entire game.

Jesus. Why couldn't they join the Jets sooner?

Love what I'm seeing from him, but he needs to cool it when it comes to hitting people along the sideline, besides the play he was penalized on I saw at least two others that were borderline.

Bell had a couple nice hits too. If these two guys can stay on the field together all year, we won't be looking for safeties next season except in the draft.

    Landry hitting queen Brady....

Landry is a helluva lot of fun to watch on the field. Even from the upper deck you could tell how hard he was nailing people on the field today - the guy is scary.

Landry is a revelation! The best hitter we've had in our secondary in decades.

no way they sign him long term bc of the injury risk.
