I was just saying that I don't mean to refute every point a Bills fan makes. I think that until further notice, we have to give them the benefit of the doubt as far as offensive line. I think their defensive front 7 will do more towards them winning the game than ours will. I have to assume Sparano is not as big of a moron as the previous coordinator and won't leave Howard on an island out there, especially with Moore one year older. Hips don't get better with age. But still, this is his first real NFL action and even though Jets fans like to downplay Mario's impact, he is capable of being a monster when healthy.
i dont know... our front 7 is more cohesive and the Bills as a team have yet to prove a damn thing. until their defense takes the field and shows something i'm not giving them any benefit of the doubt. Also, their offensive line is nothing special, in fact it was the primary problem for them last year. granted as was ours...but if im giving any benefit of the doubt to either im giving it to the team with 3 pro bowlers on the line.
twitter.com/ConorTOrr/status/244126087796387840 "Jets NT Sione Po'uha (back) will miss Sunday's opener against Buffalo, Rex Ryan said today. Ryan also said that S Eric Smith was out, something he'd expected the entire week. "He's begging us to play," Ryan said. "But I think we're just gonna be smart." Po'uha had said he was almost a week ahead in his rehabilitation schedule and was preparing to make his return against the Bills. Kenrick Ellis will get the start in Po'uha's place after a strong preseason." NJ.com
This is a game where I'd really like Pouha to play but I guess Rex wants to be cautious since its week 1. Also Ellis playing great in the preseason definitely made it easier to sit him. Devito can back up Ellis at NT when he needs a break with Wilk and Coples playing End.
UPDATE Conor Orr @ConorTOrr OK Rex Ryan was incorrect. Trainers clarify that Sione Po'uha has a chance to play. #Jets
Lol nice. I really want to see Pouha play. Bills are going to try and run the ball a lot and Pouha is a force in the middle. Guy can't be moved. He might not pass rush like Ellis but theres no one better when it comes to stopping the run at NT.
Get some reading comprehension skills. I didn't say Donald Jones was better the Cromartie. I said that matchup is in your favor.
Stevie has owned Revis, I don't see why you guys try to deny it? He always beats the press and gets position on Revis. 8 receptions for 104 yards Sunday.
Revis gave up 1 TD last year. Dare i say who got it? And lets face it Stevie dropped 2 more touchdowns in that game....Not saying Stevie is better but he has Revis' number.
