I hope they don't read too much into the preseason and help Howard as much as possible. He's a young player going against a very good DE. It would be great for his confidence to not have the fans and media question him after the first start. Also, I want to see a deep shot early in the game.
He was helped a few times with Connor in preseason. I read Schilens has been practicing and may see time on Sunday. Not sure what to think about that.
Random question here, but I'm just wondering which endzone has the Jets cheerleaders? lol. I'll be in section 103, never had endzone seats before....
I think this is the best O-line we have had since 04-05. P.S Freddy was rated as the best blocker in pass protection as a RB in the entire league.
Keller will play its only a hamy. I know nothing of your OL like you Bills fans have no idea what our DL is capable of
I'm in 104 and they're usually in both endzones during TV T.O.'s and during the game they're spread out in each corner.
I think it will come down to sanchez having to make plays for us to win. i dont think we will be able to dominate them on the ground like we did in the past. and from what ive seen of this offense the last 8 games of last season plus the preseason, we arent able to make plays in the air when we need them, or more importantly, protect sanchez. if sanchez has to throw it 35+ times i dont think we can win. and i think he will have to throw it 35+ times. Bills 16, jets 3
i just hope we arent plagued by false starts and shooting our selves in the foot either. if we bring out the wildcat and have a procedure penalty on its first use or fumbled exchange im going to lose it
I'm looking for a even halfway decent game from Sanchez, just so he gets his feet wet in the right puddle to start off the season. I'd hate for him to step in a pile of shit, even if it's Week 1.
I'm expecting a Bills blowout with a thundering cascade of boos for the Jets as they head to the lockers at halftime. Hopefully most of the crowd will leave then making my exit that much easier.
Let's look at the Bills offensive line: Cordy Glenn (6'5 343!), Kraig Urbik (6'5 324!), Eric Pears (6'8 317!) are all starters and their all big human beings. Chris Hairston (6'6 330!), Colin Brown (6'7 326), Chad Rinehart (6'5 321) and Sam Young (6'8 316) are our backups. Now Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller are no joke either. I know the Jets have a great defense. No question. The bills have not just been building the defensive line, though. They intend to bring a little ground and pound of their own. Rain? Bring it. This team can run the ball.
First game ever.... Im pretty stoked, Ive been waiting for this for a while. Im going with a Jets fan and a Bills fan so someone is going home unhappy... Better not be us The way I look at it is- Our defensive matchup should be dominant. Revis on SJ, Cro on whoever their 2nd receiver is (David Nelson maybe?), Stack the box vs the run and I dont see one mismatch they have in their favor. I have faith in our team and hopefully they pull through.
Well if Keller is playing hurt at least he'll have company... Buffalo Bills' Steve Johnson Nursing Groin Injury http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...-johnson-groin-uncertain-opener-new-york-jets
If Johnson doesn't play we should pretty much have this one in the bag. Revis might get bored, though.
How about TJ Grahm over whoever your 4th CB is. Revis on SJ. Cromartie on Donald Jones. Kyle Wilson on David Nelson in the slot. The only matchup I see there in yalls favor is Cromartie on Stonehands Jones. Landry better ease up on the hitting for week 1 too....
