My league has standard scoring with 1 PPR.

Our flex spot can be any position including QB.

Here are my options for week one:

    MJD RB Jaguars vs Vikings
Peyton Hillis RB Chiefs vs Falcons
    Stevan Ridley RB Patriots
Rashard Mendelhall RB Steelers vs Broncos
Mark Sanchez QB Jets vs Bills
Greg Olsen TE Panthers vs Bucs

I have MJD penciled in but could use some feedback.

    My other starters are:

    QB Christian Ponder
    RB LaSean McCoy
    RB Jamaal Charles
    WR Jordy Nelson
    WR Torrey Smith
    WR Greg Little
    TE Aaron Hernandez
    DEF Ravens
    K Matt Bryant

Who should I start at flex?

I'd start Mark, an average QB fantasy game is better than a good game from a RB with limited carries

That's not necessarily true for 1-PPR system.

Somehow missed the ppr, guess thats what happens when you read at 5 AM, but I'd still go Sanchez out of the names listed

If you can , always start a QB at that flex, if you're unsure about that than go MJD. Greg Olsen is a bit of a sleeper as well.

    Thanks for the input.

Right now I have MJD benched in favor of Stevan Ridley.

Olsen and Sanchez might be better over the course of the season but Ridley seems the safest for week one.

Mario Williams could have a field day so I am worried about going QB at the flex spot.

    I wouldn't ever play a clear #1 who's stranded on the Island.
