http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article1037441.ece Sounds like they're spending a lot of time preparing for ... something. It's going to be awesome if the Jets break out something completely different or just dominate them with their standard offense and don't need to use whatever it is they've been practicing w/Tebow.
Sanchez takes the snap, bombs it to Holmes, TD NYJ! Just like Rex wanted. (Teams wasting time on Wildcat)
or, if that doesn't work, Tebow coming in to run the WC. Jets line up 4 wide with a RB in the backfield next to Tebow. Tebow throws a bomb to Holmes or Hill. TD NYJ!
This is why it makes no sense to show what you have. The Bills have an idea what we're going to do, bu they don't know for sure. If we run the same thing the Dolphins did with Sparano, then they'll have a better clue. If we threw wrinkles in it, they won't know what's coming. No point in showing off the Tebow package.
I'm hoping that there's layers upon layers upon layers of wrinkles. To where each week, we'll show something that seems to be completely different from the week before.
I don't think we'll see much of Tim Tebow or his package this Sunday and here's why: 1. Nobody shut-down the Broncos better than the Buffalo Bills did last year. 2. Their QB coach (David Lee?) was the one who brought back the Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams led package in Miami, although with Tebow it's different since he CAN throw. 3. It's been hyped it so much to get into the heads of Buffalo and they'd rather save it for teams like Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Houston and New England, aka, games against better teams.
We might not see special Tebow packages, but id imagine we use Tebow plenty. Even just for short yardage situations against that pretty big d line
If he's in, it'll be his package, but you're right, if it's used this week it will be in short yardage situations/goal line situations.
It has a lovely ring to it though doesn't it? Sanchez to Tebow TOUCHDOWN NYJ! Tebow will be in as a TE
we'll see some wildcat, but i expect it to be mostly situational...i love that the bills are going to spend a lot of time preparing for something they may see 5 - 6 times all game.
I really want to see Tebow & Sanchez in at the same time. That will really confuse people. Tebow takes the snap, reverse to Greene, reverse to Sanchez who nails a wide open Kerley or Keller.
Any time they lose practicing for our regular offense is beneficial, even if the jesuscat doesn't perform on Sunday.
